Holiday Inn by IHG — Hotel in Guerrero

My room was great, and the staff was great. The first problem was finding the hotel using my phone maps--we were sent to a remote neighborhood--and Chilpancingo is not a safe place to wander around. The desk staff acknowledged that the signal isn't good, but I think they need to put themselves on the maps. Second, the first and second days, hot water on the 5th floor took much much longer to get to us than the length of the shower itself. I complained and got a box of sweets, but I turned on the shower at 6am and let it run while I made coffee, packed, moved around, and then I, and my team in other rooms, got hot water. We were visiting Mexico from the United States. This was our fist time in Mexico and everyone was so helpful and welcoming at the hotel. Juan Manuel and his staff were absolutely amazing and made sure we were well taken care of our entire stay. Alejandra, Jose Manuel, Cristian, Juan Carlos, and Omar were just a few of the names who came to mind that went above and beyond for us. Our rooms and the property were very clean and tidy. The pool was very relaxing and well maintained. We will definitely stay again...

Las habitaciones tienen acabados de lujo y son bellas y cómodas. Tienen la clásica presentación (que se agradece) de dos tiopos de almohadas, las firmes y las suaves. Los colchones son muy cómodos. En el baño el agua caliente sale con muy poco retraso. La variedad de canales de TV por cable, es muy pobre. Pero lo que es absolutamente IMPERDONABLE es el ruido. Es simplemente demasiado y por eso doy dos estrellas. Si te toca dormir en una de las habitaciones que dan hacia la carretera estás perdido. Nunca dejan de pasar los camiones y se oye todo. Por el costo de las habitaciones uno esperaría que los diseñadores del hotel se hayan tomado la molestia de instalar doble cristal, pero no lo hicieron y se oye toooda la carretera toooda la noche. Y para rematar la jodienda auditiva, si tienes la desventura de ir en tiempo de calor y enciendes el aire acondicionado, madre mía, es como dormir junto a una motocicleta encendida. No tienen minisplits en las habitaciones!!! Son de esos armatostes clavados a la pared que hacen un ruido infernal y que para amolarla más, filtran el sonido exterior. Depués me tocó una habitación que daba hacia contrario a la carretera y la experiencia fué mucho mucho mejor. Pero los aires seguían haciendo un ruido del carajo.
