Coconuts by the Sea — Hotel in Jalisco

My wife and I stayed one week at this gem and had a difficult time leaving because it is so beautiful. Alexandro, the kindest person you will ever meet, welcomed us and brought us to our room (Magnolia), which has a nicely decorated kitchen with everything you need for your stay. It also has a wonderful bedroom with a cute toilet and a big shower. The terrace is magnificent - a glorious view of Boca de Iguana beach and the palm trees. ||||Every morning we were up at sun rise and went for a walk down on the beach. Afterwards, we made breakfast and then enjoyed the rest of the day soaking up the sun near the pool and/or absorbing the view, which is magical. I had the best sleep in months listening to the waves while drifting off to wonderland.||||Cessi and Jackie are incredible hosts and their pets are FANTASTIC! Alexandro is the man and has a green thumb..the garden/plants are beautiful.||||Both my wife and I know we are returning and we can't wait! For anyone looking for great find with some romance, well...Coconuts is a gem! We can't wait for our return...

If you are looking for a place to take a rest, enjoy the view of the beach from a cozy pool, then come here. The view is breathtaking from the hotel. They without being present all the time provide impeccable attention, offering everything you need to enjoy your stay. The room is large and comfortable. I recommend to buy fresh fish at La Manzanilla (go to La Cooperativa) and ask them at the hotel to cook it the way you like it. They are amazing cooking too! Anyway you'll have your own kitchen very good provided with tools, pots and pans. ||La Manzanilla is about 50 minutes walk along the beach or 15 minute drive. There you can find the essentials for cooking or different options for each meal. ||Tenecatita and La Vena are other beaches close by car if you want to try other places. ||This is the kind of place where you let them know what you need and they we'll be happy to help. Just relax and enjoy this piece of heaven on earth. ||I can tell that you'll like to come back right after you leave...

I felt so much warmth and love at this family-run hotel. From the moment I got picked up, to the moment I was dropped off at the airport, Jackie, Jim, and Alexandro made me feel right at home. They made sure I had everything I needed, and their recommendations on where to eat and things to do were on point.

I'm still beaming about the location. Coconuts by the Sea took my breath away as soon as I stepped foot onto the property. I arrived at sunset and its location on the cliff gave me the best vantage point to see the entire bay.

The hotel is quiet and secluded, but just a short walk to the beach. I strolled along the empty beach every morning, walked to a nearby restaurant for breakfasts, and lazed about the pool in the afternoons. The hotel bar was also very cool.

The room I stayed in was clean and air-conditioned. The bed was super comfortable. My oceanfront patio gave me the most magical spot to watch whales every day!
