As I'm writing this there are two reviews at either end of the star spectrum. This is our experience on a three night stay so I hope it helps;||Hotel: Looks nice and modern from the front with a spacious lobby and a small hotel cafe/resteraunt next door. Has lifts to all floors. Permanent free coffee urn available at all times in the lobby (no milk). Free wifi throughout.||Rooms: On the 2nd floor. Large rooms, two double beds, colour Tv, decent bathroom (not huge), clean & tidy. Balcony view consists of a huge big wall...in other words no view. No hair drier, no tea/coffee facilities and surprisingly no room safe.||Prices: We were on business and got our room for two people (boy/girl relationship) for 490MXN. Two friends (non relationship) had the exact same room type for 750MXN. We either got discount rates on ours or they made a mistake? Either way we were pleased with the rooms.R||Service: No problems, everybody was polite, helpful and smiling.||Location: Just off the main city plaza, two minutes walk...perfect.||Food: Had a burger and fries in the cafe one night. Not a huge portion but good enough quality wise.||Parking: Two car parks.||Gym/Pool: Didn't check.||Overall: I can't figure out if this place has an appropriate star rating, I mean a non TA one? Nothing on their paperwork or website. If we had paid the full 750MXN peso price per room per night I would think it was a regular 3* rate but cheap if it was for a 4. Then if it is a 4 the lack of facilities in the rooms (safe, coffee, hairdrier) brings it down to 3* status. In my mind this place reflects a UK/US standard 3* hotel which normally would have the facilities outlined. With this in mind I have rated it along these lines.||Rating: Looses a star for lack of facilities, especially a room safe. There were no other gripes or complaints so in my opinion the hotel deserves a 4* review. My girlfriend is Mexican and concurs with my review.||Would I return:...
Read moreThis hotel has very different personalities, depending on what floor you're on. On the lower floors, it's more of the cheaper Mexican feel, with smaller rooms and windows that only open out into the passage way. But on the upper levels, the rooms are very large and nice, with A/C and a wonderful rain style shower. If you want a little more luxury, spend a bit extra for the upper floors. Either way, this hotel takes great care of you, and generally has at least one worker on staff that can...
Read moreThe room is small and extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom is no better. Tv is in a breakneck place and barely works. Beds are rock hard. Hallways are confusing. Room has a window to the wide open hallway. People roaming the halls all night, very creepy seeing their shadows keep passing the window. No breakfast included. No AC but a fan that barely works. No carts to pull large amounts of luggage. Room was dirty. Never...
