This hotel is sold and promoted as an hotel boutique to have some quiet and relaxation, the prices are quite high for an hotel in the area but our stayance was far from quiet and relaxing. The whole weekend they had entire families with kids all aroud the hotel in all areas (non guests) , with kids watching videos on their mobiles phones quite loud and running/jumping/screaming throughout the entire hotel and even nearby the guest rooms in front of the staff, who didnt seem to care or put limits, even though we asked them to do so. The whole weekend there was loud music in the hotel non stop, so we preferred not to make use of the pool and stay in our room (far for the noisy families with kids and zero mindfulness for the guests) but in the night they also rent the place as event venue with live music with high decibels that even make impossible to watch TV in your own room. It gave us the impression to be in a Tepetongo sort of place and/or a party salon place that is rented to EVERYONE (families with kids, with teens, non guests, events, etc) and the guests are the last priority but with prices of an exclusive place, we feel very dissapointed and cheated, we fell for it, we paid a high sum of $ to be in sort of a public swiming pool/family restaurant (Vips) but we though we were going to a relaxing place with no kids or noise around, only nature (thats how they promote it and sell it to the audience) . We comunicated to the recepcionist (who was all the time on her phone) of a cancellation for a massage the night before, still Sunday morning they were there early morning and woken up with their insistant hard knocking on our door. I was happy to go home to finally have my expected peace and relaxed weekend, with a feeling of having...

This place is so unique and interesting that my mind released the world behind me and embraced me with a combination of warmth, service and calmness. ||I was welcomed by smiling faces who scrambled to prepare my room with finishing touches like fresh water and flowers while I was served a delicious and refreshing drink. In those moments I surveyed the footpaths, manicured gardens and seating areas tucked away here and there, beckoning me to sit and read or nap. There was a palpable stillness you won't find anywhere else. I believe this is partly because of Tepoztlán itself, but also because the proprietors recognized this piece of property as having good energy. Do not miss the opportunity to take in a Temezcal or eat the portobello mushroom entree if available.||The service, food and atmosphere are positively memorable. Go....
