We spent a weekend here with some of our family 2 weeks ago, since we were invited to a wedding in the area. On arrival I was immediately suspicious when asked to pay the full-amount for our stay. I asked to see the room reserved for us first and was NOT impressed! I then advised I would pay in cash, paying half on checking in and the rest when I checked out. (Would advise all future guests to do the same!) A good thing, this hotel was more like a very old-fashioned and uncomfortable bed and breakfast! There was NO restaurant and since we could not find a suitable restaurant in Cuautla, we bought dinner from a 'Chinese take-away' in the town. In addition, there no breakfast selection, even the coffee was instant, and help yourself. We were given the suite which was a large room and not particularly attractive either. The curtains were thin and light from strong outdoor electric lighting, floodlit the room at night. Not easy to fall asleep! Also the view from the room was quite ugly, overlooking a wall and a makeshift water-tower. Whilst showering the hot water stopped, we had to bath in lukewarm water! Even to open and close the door to our room was complicted. There was no door handle on the outside of the door, it was difficult to open only with an 'old-fashioned' room key. Those of our party, who swam in the pool complained of freezing water! All these problems no doubt arose, because only one person was (trying to run) running this hotel single-handed! She did everything from preparing the breakfast to regulating the water tank, so that we could at least have a warm shower. Sorry, cannot recommend this...
Read moreMy family and I decided to go visit some friends in Mexico City, during the weekend we decided to spend some quality time with the family and found this amazing place in Cuautla Morelos. Someone we knew recommended us this place and what can I say, my family and I had an incredible time. The hotel has beautiful gardens and lots of amenities, the rooms are very spacious and clean. My kids loved the warm swiming pool and the slide was lots of fun. I agree with everyone else in here, the lady in the kitchen is just great. Food was delicious and we had great service overall. If you are looking to spend some quality time in a relaxed environment with your family, this is a great place to stay. I believe they only have about 9 rooms and it felt like if we were staying in a private villa, surrounded by lots of vegetation and huge gardens. I dont know about other peoples experiences, but we just had a wonderful time. I highly recommend and I would gladly stay there again...
Read moreThe best hotel in Cuautla, Morelos......I stayed in this hotel 30 nights for a business trip. Everything and every day was impeccable. The staff is very friendly ready to help you with everything you need at any time , the cleanliness in the room is top,the food is very good and wifi is everywhere. The area where it is located is very quiet at night, which makes sleep extremely restful in the large comfortable beds, and you can reach the historic center within 10 min on foot. The hotel is newly renovated to the best standards of a 5* boutique hotel. The owners are special people who are very attentive to the comfort and needs of their guests. I will definitely return...
