This is a project by the owners to try to live with minimal impact on the environment. They are water self-sufficient from rainwater. They built their houses out of mud and set glass bottles in the walls to add sunlight to the rooms. They grow some of their food. They have adopted several dogs. Pets are welcome and there are sweet dogs on the premises. The community dining hall is lovely and the hosts are wonderful and supportive. It was worth the 5 hour drive! Would like to stay a couple weeks next...
Read moreLA CASITA DEL HORROR. Una cosa es algo ecológico y otra sucio, descuidado y feo. Calor infernal dentro de la casita (con ventilador que no servía) , cortinas de ducha mohosas, toallas viejas, la cama me dio asquito y me acosté encima tapandome con mi chamarra, áreas comunes descuidadas, con escombros en todos lados. Te dicen que es pet friendly pero no te dicen que ahi viven 4 perros grandes, por lo que tus perritos tendrán que estar amarrados todo el tiempo. Las casitas al lado de un garage, todo muy engañoso el peor hospedaje de mi vida. Lo único salvable el desayuno con tacos de guisado ricos , PERO muy encerrado con mucha gente (familia de la dueña creo) desayunando ahi en plena pandemia.
Supuestamente se promueve el cuidado al ambiente y entorno natural, incongruencia total el cuidado al ambiente empieza por la limpieza y cuidando nuestro entorno....
