An unique place allowing you to experience nature at its best. ||Well maintained trails around and to the 2 cenotes (water howls).||Cabin (palapas) built on one of the cenotes, which provides open space living rooms and kitchen, 2 bedrooms which are simple, but do have mosquito screens. The bathroom is not adjacent to the cabin (building regulations) but the short trail to it is beautifully decorated and has enough light sources during the night. Allover you will find special decoration. ||Do not expect a 5 star all inclusive resort, (no restaurant, you have to cook or drive the bumby road to Akumal). However, it is a very special experience, especially swimming in the private cenote. The light entering the water in the morning presents spectacular views into the underground world of the cenote system. What is so amzaing about it, that you do not have to share it with so many others... it comes with the room! ||||The owners and the manager are always there to help and respond to any maintenance issue (which is normal in the jungle!) right away!||We can truly recommend this special place...

Read moreWe had a wonderful time staying at Cenote Balam-HA. The place is incredibly beautiful; it's in the middle of a jungle (we were fortunate to see spider monkeys there two days in a row :)) with a beautiful cenote where you can enjoy quiet nature, swim with cute fish and small turtles, and snorkel. The family that owns the apartments was very kind and sweet! They were always available to help us and gave us lots of great advices for places to visit. We also did a temazcal ceremony with their shaman, that was a truly unique experience!||||We highly recommend cenote balam-ha and cannot wait to visit it again in...
