CasaMia Xulha — Hotel in Quintana Roo

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hidden paradise and needless to say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we checked in, we were immediately greeted with warm hospitality and a very pleasurable welcoming atmosphere. The Hotel is conveniently located just a few meters away from the lagoon and from local stores and restaurants with great food and with prices to accommodate every type of traveler. ||The Hotel itself is a true Gem and the highlight of our trip. Beautifully appointed rooms that are both comfortable and stylish. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the hotel. From the soft clean linens to the unique decor, everything was thoughtfully designed to create a truly unforgettable experience. ||They also count with an onsite restaurant that serves breakfast until 2PM, convenient for those who wish to sleep in. As soon as we stepped into the restaurant we were promptly greeted and taken care of. A special shout out and thank you to the amicable and highly attentive Nabila Rodea who was our waitress. (She also greeted us upon arrival so I assume our receptionist too :) MULTITALENTED! ) She took great care of us and made us feel at home. We also had the pleasure to meet the Executive chef Miguel Barragan who ensured we were enjoying our meal and that everything was fine at the table as well. ||Without a doubt we highly recommend this hotel for your next stay at Xul-Ha. We left the hotel with great content but saddened hearts as we wished to have stayed much longer. We are already looking forward to going back on our next trip. ||*Side note: They also have a beach club but there is no need for us to talk about that because we would hate to give you...

Disliked Sleeping in more than 20 places around Yucatan peninsula I can claim that definitely overpriced for what was offered.

location is out of nowhere so for safety reasons only car is an option (however we expected that) - bathroom facilities was a disaster, yet quite clean

toilet didn't work (flush overused and broken so didn't work) with water dripping, we raised it, the staff took a look, open and closed it and said it was fixed

it was not 🤷🏻‍♂️ there was no possibility to flush the water so we couldn't use it - shower worked, had even room temperature water, but has no head and was splashing the water directly into the one spot - onto the shower door on ~1,5m height

the WiFi was not available nor shared

restaurant worked quite oddly: we ordered two meals: tacos and some chicken with fries. 1st we got only fries, after few minutes I got my chicken and after ~15 mins we got 2nd dish. Basically we almost finished fries, then I was eating chicken before it got cold and my partner was looking at it being hungry waiting for the second meal 🤷🏻‍♂️

There is a potential, but maintenance...

El hotel es pequeño, pero se ve muy bonito, está muy instagrameable, su roof está padre. Los puntos destacables, es que te ofrecen la entrada gratis al club de playa, que se encuentra a 13 minutos en auto. Por lo que, sí vas en auto, lo recomiendo, sino no. Hay puntos buenos, pero también tienen mucho por mejorar. El hotel tiene alberca y restaurante, sin embargo, cuando fuimos se encontraba en mantenimiento y estaba cerrado el restaurante, por lo que, si fue un poco molesto que cuando reserve no me avisaron, ya que, el pueblo es muy pequeño y no hay muchas opciones de restaurantes. Las habitaciones están muy bonitas y cómodas aunque son algo pequeñas y su aire acondicionado, es pequeño por lo que tarda un poco y no enfría en ciertas partes el cuarto. Les falta mucho mejorar en el servicio, en general los empleados son amables y nunca son groseros, pero les falta capacitación, y una persona en la noche, porque su turno termina a las 8pm y si necesitas algo después de esa hora, ya no hay quién pueda ayudarte con lo que necesitas. Por otro lado, el club de playa, la laguna está súper bonita y la decoración del lugar también, Solamente, incluye la entrada al club y el kayak individual. Las mesas y camastros tienen costo extra de $150, considérenlo dentro de su presupuesto. El restaurante igual estaba cerrado y no nos avisaron en el hotel. No hay nada cerca para comprar por ahí, así que es mejor pasar a comprar antes todo lo...
