I was super happy with my stay in this place. The owners really went the extra mile to make sure that i am happy with my stay. The room was big with a little balcony, a kitchen and a bathroom. Everything was super clean and in good condition. The bed was huge and super comfy and it was quiet at night too. There are a few good and cheap restaurants just around the corner as well as a little store with everything you need during a short stay. The surrealistic castle is just 5min away. Cheap accomodation in an undautfully non-engineered building with plenty of narrow steps but with really nice owners managing it. There is almost no parking (only 3 spaces for 10 our 12 bedrooms). Lots of mosquitos and no screens or air conditioning. The location it is a bit noise with a pub and the main road right outside.

For MX$300 more per night you can stay at a quieter place with a pool and lots of parking.

Everything was fine until a dispute involving overpayment turned into the owner holding me hostage (preventing g me from leaving by blocking me in- saying I could not leave unless I told booking dot com that I had lied about being overcharged).
