Lourdes Hotel — Hotel in San Luis Potosí

We were there as part of a very large group, and that's probably the best way to enjoy this hotel. The property is very nice - pool, jacuzzi, game room, huge veranda, a fire pit, and lots of hiking in the immediate area. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The restaurant is on-site and your meals are included with the room. The meals are served three times a day and are basic, simple fare, but very good.||||I would go again, but I think only as part of a large group. It's a great spot for kids - there's lots of grassy area to play in and the pool is appropriate for all ages (there's a big build-in shallow area).||||Things to know:||- Bring a fan if you can, they can run out in the hotter months if the hotel is full||- You're 10 minutes off the highway, and another 5 minutes to the nearest town||- Do not try to drive there at night (I wouldn't be on any road in SLP at night)||- There is no internet||- Cellular service is spotty to non-existent, and too weak for 3G/4G data||- If you want cell service with 3G/4G data, climb 3/4 of the way up the hill on the other side of the river or drive out...

Sobrevalorado. No considero que la calidad del lugar y servicio correspondan al precio. Nos llamaron para pedirnos cambiar nuestras habitaciones por dos con baño compartido, preguntamos si tenía entrada independiente a cada cuarto, dijeron que si pero fue mentira. Eran dos cuartos comunicados y en uno baño completo, los de la segunda habitación tenían que entrar a la primera para acceder al baño además la segunda habitación sin tv, sin espejo y con camas incómodas. Nos ofrecieron rebajar $1000 pero de haber sabido las condiciones jamás hubiéramos accedido en un inicio. La alberca súper súper súper sucia, el jacuzzi súper frío, el chapoteadero de niños estaba más caliente. Cero información, supongo que todos los potosinos conocen la historia del lugar, entiendo que hay una embotelladora pero si no conoces o eres de fuera... Ni idea y nadie te dice. Al hacer check out nos querían cobrar dos bolsas de bombones ($25 c/u con como 10 bombones) que jamás pedimos... Osea que tienen un sistema pésimo para consumo con cargo a la habitación. No hay red en ningun lado, literal te quedas incomunicado. Hay wifi $50 pero pésimo... Jugar pingpong cuesta y las raquetas en pésimas condiciones. Hacen una caminata pero la persona que te guía ni te explica nada, uno tiene que estar preguntando. Total, ya conocí. No gracias. Lo único decente es la comida pero nada extraordinario. We purchased a day pass for the pool, completely worth it! Our day pass included a four-course meal, 100 pesos worth of snacks and beverages 🍻 served at pool side, and access to the surrounding facilities. Food was good, ingredients were local to the area. Also we took a hike over the bridge for a closer view of the mountains. No outside music, coolers and other snacks allowed. WiFi is available for purchase. ( Ps no signal here). Overall beautiful...
