Fiesta Inn Nogales — Hotel in Sonora

Exceptionally rude staff, specifically the manager Ariana. I got two rooms for my sister's birthday and it was awful from the start. The first night were told we were being too loud. We were asleep prior to them waking us, so that was impossible. The next morning Ariana and security came to our room and we were asked when we were going to leave as if we had overstayed. I had booked and paid 2 rooms for another night. After arguing with her and explaining we had a reservation, she blamed the computer system. We brought drinks and snacks to the pool for the kids and they rudely told us and the children that they were only allowed to eat food bought in the hotel. The manager said they should have told us the policy at check in, and we explained to her she has checked us in and told us nothing. She then changed her story and lied to say she had told us about the policy. It should be noted that the other families at the pool all had drinks and snacks. At no point was an apology ever given.

We go to nogales at least once a month and will never stay here again. I would highly suggest against staying here. If I owned this business I would be embarrassed of the...

Rooms are clean. Service is so-so. Food varies in quality, but is often poor and inconsistent. (The Wednesday barbeque buffet is excellent! Thanks Chef Jose!) I personally taught the breakfast cook lady how to saute onions. She didn't even know the word. She often forgets things. It's sad, because she's someone's sweet grandma, but she shouldn't be cooking in a hotel like this. It's like that all over. Even the simplest dishes can take over 30 minutes because there's NO PREP. They need Gordon Ramsey or someone to kick their asses. The kitchen manager apologized profusely, and said he's only been there four months, and that they have made a LOT of improvements in those four months. That made me shudder to think about. At least the wait-staff warns you when the food is no good, like the grapefruit juice is bad, or the french fries are rancid. (I appreciated the warning.)

Go somewhere else to eat, like the excellent Kai Peng for reasonably authentic Chinese food, Wing Stop or Que Rollo Sushi. (My wife is Mexican, and I can tell you there's NO good Mexican food...

First of all I reserved a1st floor room and they gave it away! Charged me an adult price for my 5 year old child and as a person who needs handicap parking there were 2 cars parked in the spots with no handicap plates I go to the front desk and while they walk around the parking lot looking for a place for me to park closer rather than make that person move is beyond unprofessional!! They don't care about customers!! Get to the room there's no towels gotta go hunt those down too!! We stay cuz it's close to family but the service just gets worse each...
