We stayed for about a week in Bugambilla, which was a great room, nicely appointed, with a small private terrace and excellent cross-ventilation. The mini bar and restaurant recommendations are conveniently on a QR code, and prices are about what you'd pay at a US convenience store, and a bit less, so it was a nice surprise. We tried several of the restaurants recommended, and all of them were great, too.
Location isn't bad, but it's about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront, and from there you can easily get to most of the best attractions. It's easier to take a little time that route because of all the road construction going on. This slightly longer distance is the only reason I might give the location four stars, but for us, it was fine, and there are lots of great stores and places to stop along the way for daily drinks, water, and snacks. It's not a difficult walk, though all of Valle de Bravo seems to be uphill at times! We liked it because it was also quieter, at least for us.
Jonathan, and the whole staff, are very attentive, and the breakfast was outstanding and delivered on the dot the days we ordered.
The shower worked well, and there was plenty of hot water, the in-room coffeemaker did well (and the coffee supplies is good), and there was even a small workspace for the occasional bit of computer nonsense that needed tending to. And the wifi was terrific. No issues streaming on the TV, and great speed for normal use too.
Also, do yourself a favor and take a walk to the lower levels of the property, where you can see a lot of what is likely on the horizon for this hotel. It's an excellent value, communication is great (we came in really late due to heavy traffic from Mexico City, and there were happy to wait up for us) and again, there is really a personal touch from everyone there.
It's better to pay in cash if you can, because it may be a bit less than the posted rates (no fees to pay) and make certain to ask about paying the gov't room taxes up front at the same time (it's the same almost everywhere that isn't a giant resort town) but they are negligible on a per day basis.
All in all, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Valle de Bravo is truly a magic city, and Casa Acento made a great home base...

We do not recommend this place, they are not serious...
