Hotel-Restaurante-Temazcal Ixcal — Hotel in State of Mexico

The building has a great location, very nice view of the mountains, great facilities as guestrooms, pool, paddle courts, 5 minutes by car from downtown but they have to improve the F & B área. The first time we had breakfast, the only fruit they had was papaya and nothing else, they did not have sweet rolls, eventhough they showed them in the menú, they had no decaf , nor sausage for eggs, nor Light Coke. At night, we wanted to have something to drink and munch while watching the NBA finals in the bar area, but they had absolutely nothing available, at 8 PM. We were there only for one night, the hotel is really good and very well located, like 5 minutes driving from the Malinalco downtown entrance, the rooms are really big and very well decorated in an old fashioned Mexican style, no air condition but a nice big window and a terrace. The guys attending are nice and helpful not that fast is for are in a hurry, the pool seems good and the view from the upper rooms is cool. The hotel is very nice, clean and colorful; it's a 10 minute drive to downtown Malinalco. It has a beautiful central court with an attractive swimming pool with a great mountain view.|The problem begins when you try to sleep. The eco lets you hear as every door shuts, every conversation, dogs barking, as the water pump starts up and when you finally fall asleep prepare for dogs barking and roosters cock-a-doodle-doo, starting at 5 am. |PS. Don't order an additional bed, you'll get a crummy cot, impossible to sleep in. And the towels are falling apart. All this for 2,200...
