Hotel Monarca — Hotel in Tamaulipas

We called at 11pm to let them know we were getting there at 1am (2hours) later the guy said they had several rooms when we get there only one was available according to him . We were tired and it was 1am so we went up to sleep the place was clean but was extremely stinky with a strong sewage smell. We figured it was probably due to being closed or not in use so we turned on the AC and water for a bit but it didn’t go away . We felt asleep and in the morning the strong smell woke me up. Lots of wrong things with room , sink leaks, toilet leaks, hot water only for 2 as it ran out, tv remote buttons do not work properly, no restaurant or food, lots of holes and electrical outlets missing lights, no vanity lights , the list goes on. I called front desk to explain all the issues and not one apology. Although they did reach out thru WhatsApp to offer a refund but not an apology I feel it’s unfair for me to get it since we all slept and took a shower there. No ice machine and no wash clothes either. I would not recommend this place and as for me and my family we will never stay here...

The location is right on my route! No restaurant at hotel but they are some good ones close. Secure parking and park near room. Nice closet with hangers. But no place for torlet paper, sit on torlet tank. No place to hang shaving ket. No place to hang hand towel at sink. Have coffee but not in the evening when we arrived (7pm) and not in the morning when I was ready for some (8 am). Trouble with Internet, changed my room, finally had a guy come fix it. TV problems never fixed, though they tried. Staff was good they tried to accommodate and solve problems. Could be an isolated issue but I only recommend if you just need a room. The rest of the problems are minor but most hotels have. Been here 3 times worse...

Lugar básico, está para lo que es, pasar una noche y tiene alberca, las regaderas, las regaderas son un problema porque está bien que hay que ahorrar agua pero sale muy poca agua y un chorritos que parece aspersores 😂😂 difícil para quitar el shampoo, NULA LIMPIEZA EN EL AREA DE ASADOR Y BAÑOS DE LA ALBERCA 👙, es bueno que haya asador puedes ir a comprar tu carne y asarla pero no hay personal de limpieza, para recoger lo que no limpian los usuarios, y los baños de la alberca super sucios, asco 🤮, el agua de la alberca un poco sucia, la verdad, y bueno, la habitación está bien, cómoda , amplia, agradable peeeeero EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO RUIDOSO Parece QUE TENIA UN TRAILER O UN CAMION TORTON EN EL CUARTO 🤣🤣, NO ME ARRULLÓ NOOOO ME ENSORDECIO!!! NO HAY COMUNICACIÓN A LA RECEPCIÓN NO HAY TELÉFONOS EN LA HABITACIÓN, NO SE VEN EMPLEADOS, NO HAY RESTAURANT NI UN ÁREA DE COMEDOR, LO QUE PUDES DE COMER TE LO COMES EN EL ÁREA DE ALBERCA O EN EL CUARTO, SI HAY UN AREA DE COMEDOR PERO NO ESTÁ ABIERTO QUE NE Parece MUY MAL, DEBE ESTAR ABIERTO!!

Volvería??? Eeeemmmm... $932 pesos la noche, pues entramos a las 12 de medio día de un sábado y nos dieron llave de cuarto y entregamos cuarto 12:30, pero podíamos quedarnos hasta las 10 que cierran la alberca, entonces pues dos días de alberca, afuera en un balneario por los 4 está en 320 pesos, por dos días sin 640, y en otro lugar 480... Creo que sí volvería pero reservaría entre semana para que me salga mejor.... Puede que vuelva ...es el hotel con alberca más barato en cd. Victoria... PD. Cuando vas de viaje no piensas en el gym, pero ahora iba en plan dieta y ejercicio y NO...
