Hotel Casa de las Sirenas in Tlacotalpan is a hidden gem! I spend a night there with my family in June. We booked two rooms, The Enriquez Junior Suite and The Murillo room. The pictures in the website don’t truly portrait the beauty of this boutique hotel! Everywhere you look is exquisitely decorated with traditional elements of the state of Veracruz. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully furnished, spacious, and sparkling clean! There are two swimming pools that are clean and heated! The staff was very thoughtful and offered a wonderful service. They made sure we had what we needed and went far and beyond to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. They offer complimentary coffee and tea in the morning and evening as well as complimentary breakfast with a few options. We chose the typical Veracruz cuisine and didn't disappoint. The location is great, 5 minutes walking distance from the town hall and local attractions and restaurants. I can't wait to go back and stay at La Casa de las Sirenas. Thank you for a stay...
Read moreFantastic Experience. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. As it happened, the proprietor, Ricardo, was there on vacation and made us feel like family. He invited us on a tour of Tlacotalpan in his golf cart with a couple of his personal friends and we felt like royalty, being shown around through the museums and places of note in town. We also got to meet the mayor and deputy mayor. The icing on the cake was a stop at a workshop where a gifted instrument maker teaches boys and girls to make traditional ukulele like guitars and perform. They gave us a short performance which warmed our hearts. A one-night stopover turned into one of the most memorable travel experiences ever. It’s always the local people that make travel memorable. Mexico never fails to exceed our expectations with the kindness and generosity of its people....
