Cabañas cinco elementos — Hotel in Yucatán

If your goal is to be across the street from miles of beautiful conch-filled, perfect sand beach where it is possible to virtually have the beach to yourself, this is the place! The name describes the property perfectly: there are 5 spacious cabanas that includes excellent plumbing and plenty of water pressure and hot water. While there is no A/C, the rooms are well insulated and have an overhead fan. An additional floor fan was provided but I didn’t need it as the gulf breezes did the job. There is a central shared kitchen that you are welcome to use and a nice continental breakfast is provided by the most pleasant host who lives on the property. Reonaldo is a fountain of information for recommendations in the area and sets up tours with excellent guides who pick up at the property. He makes your stay extra pleasant as if you were a guest in his home, which you pretty much are. WiFi worked well and drinking water is provided. Our stay was a pleasant one because of the comfort of the cabin and tranquility of the area, and more so because of the hospitality of Reonaldo. Before arriving in Mexico, he sent me the a photo of the posted bus schedule and suggested we take an auto rickshaw from the bus stop. Once there, he was always available. He offered us use of his bicycles which saved us time and money, and made the time in Celestun more enjoyable. The morning we left, Reonaldo drove us into town to take the colectivo after he had already told us departure times and asked the driver to save a couple seats. Five elements and passion. Passion for fulfilling dreams. Comfortable cottages, healthy breakfasts, helpful presence of the owner, kindness and care. What more could you want? In this budget it's a great offer. Keep it up my friend! Cottages are 2-person, large bed, with private bathroom, the area is closed, there is also a fruit breakfast with coffee and you can consider that the driveway under the property is enough for parking. It was enough for us. There is also a modest kitchen, you can do your own projects in it. 10 min walk to the center. We were supposed to spend one night there, we stayed much longer.
