This cenote was awesome! There was no one else there so it was very cool to have it to ourselves. The lifeguard even let us borrow a mask which no other cenote has offered.
The cenote itself is very impressive. It’s huge and deep. The height of the jump you can do is pretty high, it was exhilarating.
Everyone there was very nice and welcoming. There was also a very adorable puppy that we could pet, as well.
This cenote is very new, I think he said 14 weeks old- which explains the smaller amount of reviews left on it.
It’s a bit of a drive through a windy road but it was a really nice one through some quaint villages. We drove past it at first- Google maps said it was further down the road than it actually was- so just be on the look out for the signs 5-10 minutes before where Google map says the location is. There’s a small sign on the ground that you can see in by review, and there’s also a really big sign made of rocks facing the opposite way.
Definitely recommend checking...
Read moreBest cenote currently if you are like me, and enjoy quite places. No massive tourism trap like any of the other cenotes. The platforms to jump from are great and overall a very pretty untouched place. Next to that the guy who's managing at the site is the best ever! We had a flat tyre during our way back and he made calls to the rental to come and pick us up. Due to the thunderstorm that took a while and he gave us food and a bench to sit on. We are so very grateful. I wanted to tip him but he wouldn't accept. We will not forget our trip to this beautiful place. Definitely recommended...
Read moreWhat an amazing visit! We went in the morning and were the only people there for the 2 hours we stayed. The staff were super friendly and explained that because of the location and price (170 pesos) it is often overlooked for other cenotes. The water is stunning and there are plenty of platforms to jump/dive off. The toilets and facilites there are also modern and clean. I highly recommend you visit this if you value peace and space on your travels.
Also, I’m not sure why it’s...
