RESET ATEMPORAL — Hotel in Yucatán

We had a fun, relaxing afternoon and evening here. Due to poor internet signal while on our road trip I had been unable to make a reservation although I had seen it listed on Booking.com. We drove here anyway hoping they'd have a room, and we got a great one - fabulous terrace with view, big room, friendly service. It's a whimsical place with humorous statues and unusual artwork. The pool was beautifully designed and had a sculpture at the bottom of the deep end, and swings above water at the shallow end. I wish we could have stayed another night, just to chill out and enjoy the property. Staying there also included a visit to a small enclosed cenote that was less than 10 minutes away walking. It was a bit creepy to be the only people climbing into the dark cave cenote, but the water was warmer than most, and super refreshing after a long day...

Beautiful grounds and lovely pool. Lots of birds and butterflies. Very quiet and good location for visiting nearby small towns, ruins, and cenotes. Welcoming staff with knowledge of the area and cenotes. Hotel is a little quirky, but a tranquil setting overall. Will appeal to independent travelers.||No real bar with variety of drinks. There were a few drinks on the menu; sangria was good but I would have liked more choices. Food menu was limited but guacamole was good. Bed was not comfortable, but if you have an action-packed day, maybe you won't notice it too much.||THis is a quiet remote area and this will work only if you have your own transportation. Como comenzar... para nada fue lo que esperaba, pues se supone que por el precio y ante todos los comentarios positivos, creí que el servicio sería muy diferente. Para comenzar al llegar a la habitación la señorita nos comento que no había restaurante o qlgo para consumir alimentos(o por lo menos no, entre semana, algo que no estaba explicado. Solo nos dejó ahí y ya, no fue grosera, pero nada servicial. Después vimos cosas que nos hace dar cuenta que no prepararon la habitación para recibirlos, había cobijas que ni siquiera estaba dobladas y cajones hecho un desastre. Muchos insectos como arañas y sapo, el cual al no ser de la zona, no sabíamos que tan venenos eran, le hablamos a un chavo que llego en una moto y fue a apoyarnos. Después seguimos viendo otros insectos muy grandes y estamos conscientes que estamos en una zona de naturaleza en donde podemos ver muchos, pero eso quiere decir que no fumigan. Pasamos la noche bien, y cerca de las 12am se nos subieron dos de ellos a la cama. Después de ahí no pudimos dormir nada por la sensación de ellos en nuestros cuerpos.

Las instalaciones de afuera son hermosas, tal cual se muestra en fotos. Al cenote no pudimos entrar, porque al hacer chek in a las 3. Nos dijeron ya que no se podía hasta el siguiente día. Pero nos marchamos temprano y ya no lo disfrutamos.

Pueden hacer y considerar muchas cosas para los que nos hospedamos entre semana, pues en los comentarios qie leí, su experiencia fue totalmente otra.

Pd: las toallas son super delgaditas y chiquitas, lo mínimo que esperas es tener una toalla digna a lo que pagas. Y las botellas de shampo y jabon no teniendo nombre como en las fotos. No hubo crema... Detalles como encontrar un cuadro tirado atrás de un espejo, confirma que no observaron la habitación antes de entregarla u.u

Muy pero muy mala experiencias en un lugar...
