Fortune Motel — Hotel in Zacatecas

Arrived after another long day driving from Camargo. Passed this place but others in town said it was quite good. Turned around and arrived. Easy checkin. Basic place. New wood laminate floor, helps clean up the place a lot. Water presure was great, Ordered food from the restaurant, guadamole was really good, and the rest was just fine as well. Air conditioner was adequate, stayed cool, but outside was really beautiful at night anyway. Cable worked. Interent was a not steady and strong, but did pick up a skype call that last for about 10 minutes, so overall, acceptable. Would recommend place, but know it is not your 5 star hotel. Have stayed in MUCH worse in MX, so overall, would stay again. Just adjust your expectations to...

Pros: Good secure parking, great restaurant with fair prices and good service, fair mattresses and cable t.v. Cons: Lots of humidity in the walls, dirty and/or stained blankets, licking WC, A/C didn't work, and the wooden floor was popping up, electric outlets were loose and finally you can only use their Wi-Fi service in two devices.
