How can I put this. I have been to so many breath taking places in the world such as the Swiss alps, Dublin, Kenya safaris, Portugal, countrysides of Europe and many more.

Traveling to Western Mongolia guided by (Nurbolat Len) Nurbie has been one of the most exotic and exquisite journey that I will remember as long as I can.

From travelling on horse back, to the unforgettable scenery, eagle hunting and experiencing the nomadic lifestyle. It cannot get better being guided by Nurbie. He is honestly one of a kind, the best!! So knowledgeable, approachable and just made me feel safe, secure and at home in a foreign land. (He will constantly ask about your well being which is wonderful .

The Western Mongolia team is excellent at giving you a unique and special experience in far western Mongolia. Numerous highlights include interacting with and training with Eagle Hunters, learning about Kazakh traditions, eating authentic food, authentic songs, horseriding through the mountains and across the steppe. We also attended the Sagsai Eagle Festival which was a cool experience.

The team is exceptional and competent at what they do which gives you the best experience possible. The activities are well planned, the food, hospitality and accomodation was excellent and the experience is made authentic.

Nurbi is an excellent organiser and helped with planning and communicating well before we arrived in Mongolia. He is thorough and ensures that you are well prepared for your trip.

Our personal English speaking guide Amandakh was also excellent and very knowledgeable. He ensured that everything planned was seamless and had great flexibility depending on your proclivities. It was easy to interact with the nomadic family due to him and this enhanced the experience. It was just a bonus that he was a similar age to our group so we had a blast.

Special mention to the drivers Jaidarkh (Jackie) and Baabsher who know a thing or two about how to tackle Mongolian terrain on the UAZ 452 van. Also, to our cook Medu who kept serving delicious meals throughout. I knocked out sound asleep, satiated, after one of the meals.

I highly recommend planning your Mongolia trip with Nurbi, you will not be...

Took the 7 day western Mongolia horse riding tour and had the time of my life with forever memories.

10 reasons why WesternMongoliaTours is the best: Care and attention to tourists’ needs based on experience - end-to-end from sleeping, to horse riding to eating to answering the call of nature. Individual horseman provided to inexperienced riders. Horsemen are hardworking, good humoured, attentive and exhibit what camaraderie should look like. Good tents, sleeping bags, pillow, blanket and hot water bottle for the cold. Ger experience to imbibe nomads’ lifestyle. Eagle photo taking in traditional eagle hunting gear Fabulous chefs cooking up creative variety of dishes making every meal a pleasant surprise. Expert drone operator’s handphone and drone footage takes the experience and memories to a whole new level. Immeasurable joy and thrill to ride your own horse freely (if you’re up to it). Starlink provides strong connection to outside world. You may be off grid but you have option to stay online, sustainably powered by solar panels. Wonderful Kazakh musical performance to cap end of trip. Yes eleven reasons - lots of jokes to go around, making new friends. Nurbie is quite funny himself and has lots of interesting stories. He’s also very...

(He will constantly ask about your well being which is wonderful >.<) I did the 10 day Horseback riding in altai region experiencing the nomad culture with a group of friends from Hong Kong. I was so impressed how well we were taken care of by the nomad horse men / horse boys, riding with them everyday. They are so alert at all times, knowing the personality of each horse. If you ever loose control of your horse they will come to the rescue in no time. The riding gears provided by Nurbie are very proper, such as the saddles and most impressively the safety stirrups. I definitely felt very safe as a rider. All the nomads I have met during this trip were so welcoming. Last but not least experiencing the Mongolian - nomad’s culture was definitely eye opening and we have so much to learn. I would not hesitate to book any tours with Nurbie as he is reliable and super responsive. I will definitely come back, when time allows.
