Perfectly located beside the public beach where you can walk for miles in the sand or on the elevated boardwalk. The staff here is very nice and works hard. They keep the hotel, which is dated as it was built in the 80s and last renovated in the 90s, very clean. They literally move all the furniture to clean the floors and remove all cushions in furniture to clean.||I would recommend getting an ocean view room on the 4th floor (which is the top floor) if you can. Great view of the ocean at all times of day. We had lovely cleaning staff on the fourth floor as well. Amina and Zinebyy did a great job cleaning our room and were very sweet and helpful while we were there. 5 stars for them!||We had no problems with noise or sleeping. I'm not sure if that's because what looks like a nightclub nearby was closed/under renovation. But the hotel has heavy double doors on every balcony which serve to keep the sun out and the noise as well.||We did not have breakfast at the hotel. It's 120 Dirhams per day. It's mostly carbs and pastries. There are eggs available and some fruit, cottage cheese, olives and the like.||The only coffee available is nescafe instant pouches in your room or coffee that you can order at the hotel restaurant. You can order a coffee for 30 Dirhams and not get the breakfast, which is what we did. BUT we also ventured outside the hotel for coffee. If you are willing to wait until about 8am, there is a cafe just outside the hotel called Suzette where you can get coffee for 25 Dirhams. And at 730am, a very pretty dessert place half a block away called Maymana makes coffee. You may want to sit and order a pastry or other Moroccan cookies there as they have a very nice front patio area.||For our first week there, pool chaises were in high demand. We were downstairs by 7am to put a bag or hat on a chair to "hold" it until we were ready. Technically, we were told the pool area doesn't open until 10am but many were there earlier than that. In our second week (last week of August), chaises were available throughout the day so not sure if we were just there at a busy time. The man who works at the pool works hard. He's there 7 days a week for 7 months for at least 12 hours a day.||If you're wondering if you should bring a hair dryer, the hotel does provide one, but it is attached to the wall and you have to squeeze it with your hands to keep it working. It did the job but it was irritating.||The hotel is generous with toiletries including shampoo and body gel, little soaps and they also give q-tips. The shampoo and body gel is heavily perfumed so if you think that will bother you, bring your own.||The rooms are not equipped with close up mirrors for tweezing eyebrows and such so bring your own.||The rooms do have a closet but with very few hangers - perhaps 6. The other furniture including the TV table and side tables do not have drawers so not the best for storage. ||Our room did have a mini-fridge.||The hotel provides two 500 mL bottles of water per day to each room.||There are definitely nicer hotels in Casablanca, but they are in the city centre. This one was right on the beach and that was the selling point for us.||Whenever we needed to go anywhere far, we had hotel staff help us flag down a red taxi to get to where we needed. That's a whole other post in terms of red...

Read moreAs soon as I entered the room and went to take off my shoes by sitting on the chair, I called downstairs. The chair had semen on it. They came and replaced the chair. When there was no follow up or concern from management about the chair, I didn't bother to tell them about the long black hair in the shower or its slimy floor because I saw it as a lack of professionalism and that they didn't care. ||As far as the shower, I didn't know until the night (before bed) about it's uncleanliness so I wore my flip flops and my husband rinsed the floors of it. Since management wasn't concerned about the chair, we felt they wouldn't care about the shower either. ||Our travel agency spoke with management and they said they were going to do something for us. They did nothing and never followed up with us and they lied to the Travel Agency and said that they did. Upon speaking with management on our departure, they only offered to speak to the housekeeping staff, but showed no interest in making it right for us. I am disappointed in their lack of professionalism to do anything after I immediately called in regard to the chair. The management should have stepped up right away after that chair was sent to be replaced and the management did nothing, not even a call to us. It is not my job to nag them into 5 star service for 5...
