Honestly, the hotel is very nice the reception was friendly and helpful, the lady was there awesome and very nice. But there’s some issues with the towels not there and asked the ladies in the hallway to bring them and they forgot. then I have to call the front desk to remind them. Finally they bring some but wasn’t enough for three of us anyway. The big problem is the pool guy who called Yassine if I remembered. Was not respectful. my wife trying to enjoy the pool and they’re steering at her without blinking their eyes. 👀 and when I look at them to give us some privacy. He followed me to the hallway telling me I shouldn’t walk bare feet to the pool. I said why then he said you have sand on them. I said that’s why I am here to enjoy the sand and the pool. What’s your problem. Then he call me stupid people. Excuse me! That’s disrespectful what you said then he said you people coming here blabla… I tried to ignore him as much as possible. I went up to the front desk to make a complaint and they listened to me then the lady (I forgot her name sorry) was nice and went to talk to him. Then she said we’re so sorry and I said no problems. The next day before checking out, I went to my car in the garage. Then I saw the pool guy (Yassine) on his motorcycle close to my car. Looking at me crazy. Then I went back to my room to bring more luggage and now his by the elevator standing with his arms on his waist! I passed by him and he spit on the floor. I was pissed off at him why you did that again. I went up to the front desk and I told the lady then she came with me. He wasn’t there so she made calls then he came. Lying “I didn’t do it” and I showed her the spit and she was saying “what’s this tell me” she repeatedly apologized for the incident. Now the question is: Do I will go there again? The answer is No. and don’t get me wrong the hotel is very nice but the employees should be chosen and selected! I always stayed in hotels and this is never happened to me. I love Morocco and I like to go visit every year but this it shouldn’t...
Read moreWe were eight and Casablanca was our last stop. Pestana is not too far from the airport and we did not want to travel a long distance on the day we needed to catch our flight.|We were not as young as we had once been and the riyads (gorgeous though they were) had not been kind to our knees. I, for one, was happy to step into a modern functional hotel with lifts. My room was almost a studio apartment with a non AC verandah (with table and chairs) from where, if I craned my neck, I could see the sea. The sea was actually within a stone’s throw.|The room was large, with a place to keep the suitcase where I could open it without needing to stoop. I find this such a convenience. The room also had a dining table with chairs, a smaller centre table and a TV. The TV refused to be switched off (remote/mains...nothing worked) so, I called the technician who came and did whatever needed to be done. No TV on vacation. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom clean. The kitchen had all modern amenities including cutlery. The AC worked. It was not noisy. I mean, what more could I ask?|This hotel is not cute. It is not charming. It is not boutique. It does not have old world vibes. It is modern, no-nonsense functional and met our brief wonderfully. It is also RIGHT on the beach and the lift takes you to the back door from where the beach can be most easily accessed. The door is guarded at all times, so security is not a problem. There is a Café there that sells wonderful ice-cream. There is a Carrefour. The mall (I forget the name) was where we had a cheap and cheerful dinner at the FoodCourt (lots of choices). Breakfast was not included in our Plan, so I cannot comment on Pestana’s kitchen.|The only issue I had was that the Room Access cards kept getting demagnetized so, the reception staff needed to sort it out, which they did with a smile. (Also, some confusion about the level on which Reception was ...leading to one or two extra trips on the lift...but all good)|Bottomline: Perfect for the...
Read moreAs of my second stay and after spending almost 4 months at Pestana Casablanca Hotel, above all, I would like to thank Mr. Zakaria for his commitment to excellence in providing consistent high quality of service during my long stay. As he went beyond and above to make my stay feasible and comfortable, from day one till the day I left the hotel. I was completely impressed with his outstanding professionalism in guest service. Thanks to Mr.Zakaria, and definitely his great service is always the only reason to return to Pestana Casablanca Hotel again and again !
Thanks to the Manager Mr.Pedro, and Ms.Bouthaina for their nice hospitality. Thanks to the reciption team: Ms.Hafsa, Ms.Oumaima, Mr.Hani for being helpful and responsive. Thanks to the concierges Amine, Mehdi, redwan, they were so helpful. Thanks to Mr.Rachid, at hotel's resutrant, for his kind service.
Disappointingly, there is one thing I hated about the hotel; the Housekeeping Service! It is a REAL MESS! The Houskeeping is below any srandards. And definitely it is under any rating scales! No professionality in providing services at all! Low quality room cleaning, worn out towels, torn bed sheets, unhygienic tissue/toilet tissue and bad smell slippers. At the time of cleaning the room, liquid soaps are not filled up, towels and sometimes the duvet cover, tissues, slippers, soaps, are not avaliable and you have to wait for so long to get them! DND sign on the door is not respected. And the main worst issue is involving guests in problems instead of trying to find solutions for our suffers during our stay! To sum it all, I would advise the admins of Pestana Casablanca to reconsider the Houskeeping service, because it is giving a bad reputation to the hotel! *I give service one star for the Housekeeping service, though it shouldn't be even rated! And so is my overall rating will be one star because of the...
