The service was extraordinarily terrible but the food tasted pretty good. The prices are typical for a restaurant targeting tourists. We went for lunch in December and the entire hotel/restaurant was freezing inside, colder than it was outside. The restaurant was almost empty and we wanted to sit by the windows where it was slightly warmer, but couldn't because all of the tables on that half hadn't been cleared yet after the previous customers left (and still weren't cleaned even after we finished eating). The cutlery and the table they ended up seating us at were also dirty, and they didn't give us plates to eat the bread. I ordered camel tagine which was ok. Tender and flavorful but very oily. We ordered mint teas for 20dh per person, but they didn't give us the pot and one of the cups came only half full. They allow credit card payment if you spend more than 400dh. Our tour group consisted of 2 families seated at different tables, but they put everything under 1 order, and for some reason we couldn't pay with card if we split the bill, even though it should've been separate bills to...

While traveling from Fez to Sahara, stopped in for Lunch. I have to say I was expecting more variety on the menu for vegetarian options.
Salads, tajin (boiled vegetables), and spaghetti.
With vegetables and spices and nuts there can be many options using the same vegetables.
Vegetables Tajin is the same whoever you go. No variety. Exactly the same. It’s good, but not every day.
The spaghetti was good with a light tomato bisk drizzle with a pad of soft white cheese. Plain and okay.
My wife gave me peppers she didn’t want. Together with the spaghetti it was very nice.
If getting vegetarian spaghetti, I recommend ordering a side of cooked peppers to eat with spaghetti.

Read moreAvoid this hotel at all costs. It is not well maintained. Room balcony had no furniture. The soap provided was microscopic and of very poor quality. Pool furniture was dirty. It got cold at night when we were there. Door to hotel was open. All of the common areas were very cold. You needed to wear a jacket in the lobby and the dining room. Due to the open door, there are multiple aggressive cats in the dining room. Between the flies and the cats on the table, the experience is not good. Food is sub-par. The included breakfast buffet was the worst we had in Morocco. There were no serving utensils in the buffet, so guests were using their hands. Not very sanitary. Service left much...
