There are no words to describe how amazing our stay at Dar Rihana was during our family vacation to Morocco this summer. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with such luxury, both inside and outside. The furniture and decor have a rich , inviting feel that embeds the culture and architecture of the county. The views of the river and mountains from the balcony are amazing for sunrise and sunset. The pool was a nice surprise for us to cool off after a day in the heat. The room we stayed in was extremely comfortable considering we were a family of 4. However, I can't stress enough how much their customer service is just above and beyond from the start to the end of our stay. Their meals could easily give a Michelin chef a run for their money - breakfast is great but their 4-course dinner was just superb. But the most exciting and very unexpected part for us was how they integrated a surprise celebration for one of our daughter's birthday as part of our stay. She was already happy to spend her birthday in Morocco but to have something special just for her truly made her day. She was presented with a personalized cake (at no charge to us), had the staff sing her Happy Birthday, and literally had a small party with us, putting on music after the other guests left the restaurant and showing us local custom dances and teaching the kids the Berber language. It was just absolutely amazing and we left with memories that a lifetime. We absolutely recommend Dar Rihana if you're on the way to the Sahara Desert, or just for a stay in the beautiful Dades Gorge region (another beautiful site to see and only 10 mins away). We can't...
Read moreA magical hotel in the Dades Valley. We reached it in the middle of May. During our stay it was gloomy and cold.
There are generally two sides to the rooms, the side facing the green spaces and the pool - rooms with even numbers (by the way, these are rooms with a balcony). and rooms on the other side facing the road.
The hotel and the service are exceptional in their beauty, uniqueness and the dedicated service of the employees.
Still, two things bothered me a bit: I booked two rooms and got permission for the even numbered rooms (2,4). In practice we got room number 3 and 4. That is, one room facing the road, without a balcony. was a bit suffocated.
I was very sick, so I didn't have the strength to bother with it either (by the way, they took great care of me and made me tea with unique ingredients).
The second thing, we booked bed and breakfast. We arrived late at night and they asked us where we were and what we like to eat. As mentioned, I was sick and I did not remember at that moment if we also ordered dinner. In any case, only my sisters sat down to eat and the next day, apparently, they charged for dinner.
On the one hand I say unequivocally that it is nice of them to take care of us in the evening, on the other hand, their way of asking was a trick. In any case, I highly...
Read moreWe were very fortunate to stay at Dar Rihana Dades (important - DO NOT MIX for Riad Rihana!!). We stayed here for our honeymoon and highly highly recommend this place. This place is magical and elegant. My husband and I loved each and every aspect of this place - the professional hospitality, the perfect cleanliness, the design choices, and the amazing cuisine. This residence is the best of the best. Don’t miss out or look anywhere else to stay in Dades Gorge/Valley. This place will exceed your expectations and will leave you warm and delighted, and wanting more.
My husband and I were greeted with warmth, smiles, and perfection by Muhammad and Abdul (and fed by Hameed and Sulaiman). They took care of every detail for us and gave us a beautiful suite with a roaring fire, and I was able to capture some phenomenal pictures from the terrace of the night sky. Furthermore, the night sky here rivaled the Sahara Desert. My husband and I will cherish our memories here and hope to return in the future and are excited to see this establishment thrive and expand to new levels (also definitely recommend trying out their herbal blend tea with thyme, lemon, star-anise - very good).
Excellence and elegance in cuisine, hospitality, cleanliness, and care; memorable + high...
