Avoid Hotel La Gazelle du Dades at All Costs||||Our experience at Hotel La Gazelle du Dades was a complete nightmare. Upon arrival, we realized the hotel was located in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to do or see outside. The hotel itself was dirty and outdated. The rooms were filthy, the beds were unclean, and the bathroom didn’t even have proper lighting or basic essentials like soap. The towels provided were dirty as well.||||The food quality was very poor—just bland potatoes and some vegetables, and we were unexpectedly charged over 100 dirhams for small cups of tea for all family members without prior notice.||||The worst part of our stay happened at 5 a.m. when the hotel caught fire. No one from the staff informed us about the fire, nor did they have any safety protocols in place. There were no alarms, no emergency exits, and no effort to evacuate guests. My family and I woke up to thick smoke, unable to see or breathe properly, and had to evacuate on our own. When we told the staff that six members of our family were still upstairs, they shockingly dismissed it as “not a problem.”||||My mother had to go back into the smoke-filled hotel to scream for the rest of our family members to ensure they got out safely. It was horrifying and traumatizing. Once outside, we were left in the cold, wearing nothing but sheets and random blankets. The staff made no effort to assist us, provide shelter, or even call emergency services like the police, firefighters, or an ambulance.||||We stood outside in the cold for hours, completely unprepared, and later had to travel the rest of the day still smelling of smoke and wearing the same dirty clothes. The hotel took no responsibility for this disaster and acted as though nothing had happened.||||This place has no regard for guest safety or well-being. The lack of emergency measures and the staff’s indifference to such a life-threatening situation caused me severe PTSD and trauma. Read moreMy recent stay at Hotel La Gazelle was nothing short of a nightmare. The hotel's lack of cleanliness, unchanged duvet, rude staff, and false advertising left me extremely disappointed. In fact, my dissatisfaction was so profound that we decided to abandon our stay and find accommodations elsewhere in the neighborhood.
First and foremost, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The room was not properly cleaned, evident from the unpleasant odor and visible dirt on the floors and furniture. This lack of basic hygiene standards is simply unacceptable for any establishment that claims to provide a comfortable stay for its guests.
To make matters worse, the duvet on the bed had clearly not been changed prior to our arrival. It was crumpled and stained, indicating a complete disregard for guest comfort and well-being. Such negligence is not only unhygienic but also shows a lack of attention to even the most basic details of hospitality.
Adding to our disappointment, the hotel staff displayed a rude and unhelpful attitude throughout our brief encounter. Any attempt to address our concerns or seek assistance was met with indifference and dismissiveness. The lack of professionalism and customer service further contributed to our decision to leave the hotel in search of better accommodations.
Furthermore, the hotel's advertisement was misleading, particularly with regard to the absence of the swimming pool depicted in their promotional materials. This false representation is deceptive and dishonest, undermining the trust that guests place in the hotel's amenities. It is unacceptable to entice customers with facilities that do not actually exist.
Based on our experience, I strongly believe that Hotel La Gazelle should be closed. The dirty rooms, unchanged bedding, rude staff, and deceptive advertising demonstrate a complete disregard for guest satisfaction. I strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel, as it will undoubtedly lead to disappointment and...
