Gite Ifoulou Tassaout — Hotel in caïdat d'Aït Tamlil

A friend and I stayed here while travelling overland by motorbike in October 2017. The owner was very friendly but didn't speak any English, however he spoke Spanish and my friend was able to converse with him. We were the only visitors staying and had the good sized lounge to ourselves to relax, we gather they have many Spanish visitors and students staying here. The Gite was very welcoming and clean, the showers had hot water and a proper western toilet. Upon arrival, tired after a days riding we were given a very nice amount of mint tea, salted nuts and bottled water, was probably the best mint tea I drank all holiday. We had dinner too which was soup, followed by chicken tagine and fruit for desert. Again this was very good and some of the best food I ate all week. The sleeping accommodation was shared and simple mattress and sheets and blanket. I got a good nights sleep and the room and sheets were clean. Breakfast was the usual simple affair of bread, orange juice, preserves, butter and tea/coffee, the bread was nice and fresh. The owner helped us fix a problematic bike and then we set off to continue our journey. The location is nice, set on the banks of a river and was quiet with the sound of the river. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodate and was possibly the best value place, bang for buck place we stayed all week, being very reasonable value for the 2 of us and well...

We had a very nice time at Auberge La vallee des Figues! The people are so friendly and nice (special Thanks to Ibrahim) and do their best to make you feel home.We felt warmly welcomed from the first moment and all throughout our stay!! The meals were delicious - served on the terrace, the lovely rooftop room overlooking the Dades Canyon where we had a delightful 2h . Highly recommend the Auberge La vallee...

El decorado no puede ser más hermoso: enormes montañas que te abrazan, las noches te arropan con sus brillantes estrellas, la calma absoluta, la inmensidad de su espacio y de hilo musical, el movimiento del agua de su río. La Gite, el lugar donde disfrutar del decorado: gente sencilla y buena que te hace sentir que formas parte de ellos, su rica comida, su delicioso té, cómodas habitaciones para descansar, un acogedor comedor vestido con bonitas alfombras marroquíes y el balcón... para buscar las sonrisas de esos niños que vuelan entre las rocas. Gracias de todo corazón por estos inolvidables días!!
