Malibu Surf House — Hotel in caïdat d'Aourir

I recently spent a week at Malibu Surf House and had an incredibly good time which went beyond my expectations. This was very much due to our hosts who made us feel welcome whilst also giving us plenty of space. The breakfasts (and dinners - you should try them at least once!) with traditional Morrocan food were delicious and we were made to feel so comfortable it felt like we were visiting friends. It was nice interacting with other guests around meals and it didn't feel forced. Perhaps we were lucky ...perhaps it was the magic of Malibu Surf House? The hosts also gave us loads of tips on where to go for dinner and what to visit and were very helpful with bookings (local taxis, restaurants and spa) .

Malibu Surf House is a great spot to stay when visiting / exploring this part of Morocco's coast. You feel safe walking around the village and it's ideally situated. If you are into surfing and want to take classes, Malibu Surf House will take you to some amazing spots and ensure your gear and the weather conditions are adequate. I myself am a beginner and the friend I was traveling with was intermediate... but they managed to take the two of us out at the same time. We also got to try out different spots which was really fun and interesting. Our hosts also organised yoga on their rooftop for us with a lovely teacher who adapted her classes to our post surf muscle aches and energy levels. Our Surf/ yoga packages were made to measure and flexible giving us plenty of time to rest and and explore on our own. Absolutely perfect stay ❤️ We originally planned to stay just a few nights, but ended up spending the whole week here as no other place matched their standards. Clémentine and Mohammed are simply the best hosts: warm, caring, and always ready with helpful tips. They’ve created a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere where it’s easy to relax and connect with fellow travelers from around the world. The rooftop moroccan traditional dinner was delicious (thanks to Mohammed’s mum and himself!) and the breakfast each morning was the best we had in Morocco! The pool area is beautiful and perfect for unwinding. The entire house has lovely touches throughout, from the decor to the amazing scents that made it feel truly special. It’s quiet and respectful at night, and we felt so well taken care of throughout our stay. They helped us with everything we needed and truly made us feel at home.

We had the best time at malibu surf house!😍 It was definitely the highlight of our 3 week trip around morocco. Marie and Omar are the most kind and helpful hosts. They were always there for any kind of help, tips and great recommendations. They have created a beautiful house, where you feel welcomed from the first moment. The house and rooms are really pretty designed and everything was clean. We booked the surf package and enjoyed not only fun surf lessons with Omar, who is a great and really patient teacher, but also we had great dinners together with Marie and Omar. The food was also a highlight and really delicious! We have tried traditional moroccan dinners, where we have learned a lot about the moroccan kitchen, and also the breakfast and lunch was always super good! We are already looking forward...
