I stayed with MojaSurf for 6 nights in the end of October.
The Riyad is placed in a quiet neighbourhood with shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
When you enter the Riyad, in your left there is a small kitchen. If you continue straight you will enter the main area, where you can socialise and relax. There is an outside area where you can wash and store your wetsuit. It would be nice if there were some more space for the wetsuits, as there is only room for six suits to hang at the time. You can, however, dry it on the rooftop afterwards.
On the 1st and 2nd floors you have the rooms and bathrooms. The room is nice and spacious enough for two people. I stayed in a room with shared bathrooms, but it works fine. There are blinds and curtains to block out any light. There is a decently sized closet to keep your clothes, and it is possible to lock the room. There is also a key for the main door, so you can come and go as you please. The beds are a little bit short if you are more than 1.85m tall .
The master piece of the Riyad is the rooftop. It has a spacious area, where you can enjoy the meals and socialise. There is a magnificent view facing the sea, where you can enjoy the sunset and a view of Banana Point, which have great waves for any level. It is possible to sunbath on the rooftop as well. On the rooftop you also have the kitchen, with basic appliances. It is possible to keep some food in the fridges.
The breakfast is Moroccan style. I would consider it a little sparse with food, but that is a personal preference. An example of a breakfast would be: small omelet to share, bread, pancake, tea, coffee. For me personally, it is a little bit simple but maybe for others it’s enough. The dinners were also typical Moroccan dishes like tagine, couscous, etc.
The host is very accommodating and happy to help with any request you may have. I had a great time staying at MojaSurf and would recommend it to other people, who prefer it a little bit quieter than what other accommodations...
