Yes, the idea behind PureSurfCamp is promising, but the execution is very poor. Some things, like surf courses, cannot be booked online. They offer surf insurance, but it’s almost pushed on you to the point where you feel uncomfortable declining it. This insurance itself doesn't make much sense, considering some of the surf gear is in bad condition and there is no inspection when the equipment is returned.

Yes, surf lessons are offered, but they are not well-managed. There are multiple groups, but they’re all the same: beginners and advanced surfers are mixed together, making the lessons unproductive for both levels. Yes, you can make requests for changes, but switching anything, especially surf groups, is nearly impossible.

Yes, there’s a sense of community, but the camp unintentionally forms cliques, preventing the whole group from bonding. A stronger sense of togetherness would contribute greatly to a better overall atmosphere, making people more excited to connect with one another.

Yes, there are excursions, but they are overpriced and often not worth it. They are also not as described — for example, a trip to a river might claim you can’t jump in, but they fail to mention there’s barely any (clean) water. Unfortunately, no alternatives are provided for these excursions either.

Yes, there are activities, but they seem half-baked. A "Pool Party" just means a DJ playing music from Spotify with little to no effort to engage people, like organizing a volleyball game. The guests usually end up motivating themselves to bring these activities to life.

Yes, the food is excellent and tastes great, but once it’s gone, it’s not always replenished, which is a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the kitchen staff is very friendly and accommodating, which is a nice touch.

Yes, the PureSurfCamp team is always present and friendly, but their lack of motivation is noticeable. This has created a general sense of dissatisfaction among the guests, which can be both seen and heard during the stay.

She approached me afterward, took the time to talk things over, and apologized, which speaks to her professionalism. Wir sind zu zweit hierher gereist und haben es geliebt! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer und alleine das war bei unserer Ankunft ein absolutes Highlight. Grundsätzlich war das Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend. Wir haben nach den Surftagen super gut geschlafen, hatten einen kleinen Balkon und ein eigenes Badezimmer. Sollte das Wasser beim Duschen einmal kalt gewesen sein, konnte man sich direkt bei der Rezeption (auch per WhatsApp) melden und das Problem wurde gelöst. Entweder wartete man auf einen Installateur oder man hatte die Möglichkeit, in einem anderem Zimmer zu duschen. Alles vollkommen unproblematisch! Schon aus dem Zimmer hatten wir einen super Ausblick, aber dieser wurde aus dem eigentlichen Surfcamp nochmal übertroffen. Die Aussicht auf das Meer und das Restaurant am Strand vom Pool aus war einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Jeden Tag hat man sich aufs Neue gefreut, an diesem Ort zu sein und die Aussicht genossen. Die Lage des Surfcamps ist einfach perfekt. Nicht nur die Lage hat uns überzeugt, sondern auch das Essen. Dieses wurde jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und hübsch angerichtet, sodass man sich immer wieder gefreut hat, Neues auszuprobieren. Besonders toll fanden wir auch den BBQ Abend und jedes Mal war der Nachtisch ein Highlight. Es könnte hier nur etwas schwierig für Leute werden, die kein Gemüse mögen oder viel Fleisch essen. Perfekt geeignet auf jeden Fall für Vegetarier und Veganer. Auch das Frühstück war toll, vor allem für Menschen, die es gerne süß haben. Die Omelette-Station war hier das herzhafte Highlight und immer gut besucht. Aber auch das Warten hier hat sich gelohnt. Wir hatten vor unserem Aufenthalt keinerlei Surferfahrung und haben hier nur einen eintägigen Surfkurs gebucht, um zu schauen, ob uns das etwas taugt. Dieser startete um 10 Uhr entspannt nach dem Frühstück und man hat sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die beiden Surflehrer waren super cool drauf und es hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht. Die ersten 2h waren die Lehrer mit im Wasser, um direkt Tipps zu geben oder einen auf eine brechende Welle vorzubereiten. Wenn es dann geklappt hat auszustehen, war die Freude groß und alle haben sich mit einem gefreut. Das war echt mega und hat die Gemeinschaft im Camp gestärkt. Nachmittags waren die Lehrer nicht mehr im Wasser, haben aber von außen Tipps geben und angefeuert. Die Tage danach haben wir uns das Equipment nur noch ausgeliehen, ohne Kurs. Das hat durch den ersten Input am vorherigen Tag auch gut funktioniert, wobei ich sagen muss, dass man sich vor allem als Mensch mit Angst vor tiefem Wasser sicherer gefühlt hat, wenn ein Lehrer und eine ganze Gruppe dabei war. Schon der erste Surftag hat aus den Leuten im Camp eine kleine Gemeinschaft gemacht und es hat total viel Spaß gemacht, sich am Abend beim Essen über den Tag und das Erlebte auszutauschen. Man hat sich nie unwillkommen oder unwohl gefühlt. Auch die (Abend-)Aktivitäten, die vom Camp angeboten wurden, sorgen für Abwechslung vom Surfalltag. Wir sind an einem Tag mit zum Markt gefahren, was eine coole Erfahrung war. Für die anderen Sachen waren wir immer zu müde :D Da das Beste bekanntlich zum Schluss kommt, würde ich gerne nochmal die Arbeit des gesamten Teams hervorheben. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Team war immer für einen kleinen Plausch zu haben und haben gute Laune verbreitet. Wir haben uns immer gefreut, an die Rezeption zu kommen oder das Team beim Surfen zu treffen. Wir werden euch vermissen, aber auf jeden Fall...

First of all, they gave us the wrong room. We have booked the deluxe double room with double bed, and then we got the standard twin room. After communicated and investigated with the manager, they acknowledged that it’s their fault, but since there was no other availability, they agreed to give us the price difference refund. (Which we haven’t got the refund yet after two months and we wrote three times to ask but no reply) The room we stayed was very hot, and it has a funny smell coming from the pipes that they couldn’t fix. All the facilities are very torn up. For this price, at least they could update a bit their equipment. The food was okay, but lack of variety. The surf guides were very friendly, but unfortunately, they only stay on the same beach everyday, which most of the time was no wave when we visited. They don’t take you to any other location. So if you are looking for a real surfing experience, this is definitely not the right place. We thought Germen company should have been reliable, turned out to be a big mistake.
