This review applies to Riad Ait Sonia : DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! 🚫
This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had through Booking. The riad is a disaster from start to finish. We arrived around 4:30 PM (after informing them we’d be there at 3), and by 5:30 PM the rooms were still not ready. There are no signs anywhere, it’s nearly impossible to find, and after calling about ten times — no answer at all.
Once inside, total chaos: • No towels, even though they’re listed on the website. • No bedsheet covering the duvet. • Everything covered in dust; when we asked about it, they just handed us a cloth to clean it ourselves. • The sink leaks whenever you turn on the water. • Spider webs and ants everywhere. • Wi-Fi doesn’t work. • The door lock barely functions. • Curtains are transparent — no privacy. • Outside, filthy cushions and unwashed laundry scattered around.
And on top of that, no breakfast even though it was clearly included, and the bathrooms stink. The staff are careless...

The riad was basic, but beautiful and well organised 1 year ago, unfortunately the owner destroyed the place completely with his ambitious plans. Better stayed basic than what it became now with the construction and all the problems involved to that (no electricity, no wifi, no water, dirt everywhere).
