I am compelled to express my profound disappointment with my recent stay at one of your esteemed Richard Branson Hotels(Kasbah Tamadot), which, to my regret, fell significantly short of the expectations synonymous with your brand's reputation for excellence and hospitality. Upon booking, I was under the impression that I would be enjoying a stay of comfort and luxury. However, I was dismayed to discover that the hotel was in the midst of construction. While I understand the necessity of periodic renovations and upgrades, it is utterly bewildering that the hotel continues to accept bookings and charges guests full price under these circumstances. The tranquility of my stay was severely disrupted as my mornings began at 7 am, not with a peaceful awakening, but with the relentless and jarring clamor of builders at their work. This cacophony persisted throughout the day, effectively stripping away any semblance of the relaxation and peace one seeks in a hotel stay. Compounding my dissatisfaction was the decision to repurpose one of the rooms as a makeshift dining area. This arrangement, while perhaps born out of necessity, was far from what one might expect in terms of dining experience at a hotel that bears the Richard Branson name. It was not only inconvenient but also detracted from the overall ambiance and quality of my stay. Under these circumstances, I find it disheartening that the hotel has not made any adjustments to its pricing strategy. Charging full price, as if offering the full suite of amenities and the serene environment promised, is both misleading and unjust to your guests. I trust that you will agree that this situation is far from the standard that your guests expect and deserve. I urge you to consider compensating those who, like myself, have had their stays marred by these disruptions. Moreover, I hope that in the future, the hotel will either cease accepting bookings during such extensive construction or at the very least, be transparent with potential guests about the ongoing work and offer a discounted rate to account for the inconveniences. I look forward to your response and a resolution...

A very special place where you can easily chill out and de-stress. The natural beauty of the mountains and gardens are breathtaking. My second time here to celebrate our weddung anniversary and it still lived up to expectations. We came for a short 5 night break which was perfect to recharge. The staff are so courteous and nothing is too much trouble, they genuinely seem to want you to enjoy your stay as much as possible. Breakfasts are fab and there is alot of choice on the buffet and a vast selection of cooked options made to order, and freshly squeezed juices, including traditional Berbour breakfast with eggs and a type of meatballs. On the last day we had room service for breakfast and we had everything we asked for, plus a few extra things they thought we might like, such as fruit salad and pancakes!! Lunch is on the terrace or if you want you can stay and by the pool and have delicious mozzarella, tom, avocado basil salad, chicken sanis in traditional flat breads or fish, chicken tagines theres lots of choice and service is quick. For dinner location changes nightly. The roof terraces give a great view and are cooler than the pool terraces. The night we arrived dinner was being served on the first floor inner courtyard surrounding an ornate pool covered with floating rose petals, so romantic. All rooms have different characters. The first time we stayed in the main house then to a larger room near to the pool. This time we were very lucky to be upgraded to a Berber tent in the gardens which was an amazing experience and made our stay even more enjoyable. With sun all day the really spacious terrace gives lots of privacy and awesome views . Hardest decision was to be by the pool or our own terrace each afternoon... This is definitely a unique and special place. There are direct flights from London around 3.5 hrs and a scenic hour's drive...

Definitely deserves to be listed as one of the best luxury hotels in the world. Stunning, remote property, wonderful staff, beyond gorgeous Berber tented room with every offering and consideration you could think of - earplugs, reading light, torch, iron and board, fruit bowl, good aircon and a free minibar. The spa was a perfect temperature and we wore the sombrero hats to watch a storm roll in until we deemed it unsafe to stay out. The decor of the lunch restaurant is a bit lacking and the 70s80s greatest hits didn’t help with creating an exotic atmosphere. We should have had lunch on the terrace in the sun. The huge dining tent is stunning and service was great. Those that had the beef were very happy. If I was home I would have sent the lamb back as it wasn’t as described, was overcooked and not tasty. Also, the fireplaces don’t draw very well so our clothes and hair smelt of smoke when we got back to the room which is tricky when you’re travelling. Breakfast was in the big tent again, music was delightful and we’ll play some pickleball now that the rain has gone. Wish we could stay an extra night but grateful for the 1 we’ve had. It’s beautiful here and considering the devastating earthquake only a year ago they have worked wonders. The repair and new building works did not impact us at all. Have to report that 3 of us got food poisoning after dinner and one of our group is very ill the following day after being up all night. We had to pull over to the side of the road. I am still sick a week later which is making travel...
