🌟 A Dream in the Desert – A Place You'll Never Forget! 🌟

Our stay at Sahara Pearl was simply magical – it exceeded all our expectations and left us speechless in the best way possible!

Location: The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the desert, yet still easy to reach by car. As soon as you arrive, you're transported to another world – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by endless dunes. The silence and vastness of the landscape bring an instant sense of calm and wonder.

Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. One of our favorite parts was the bathroom – designed in the style of a traditional oriental hammam, featuring a separate shower framed by a graceful archway, softly lit by a Moroccan lantern, and with small windows opening to the outside. It felt like our own private spa. Everything was provided: fresh towels, a hairdryer, and high-quality bath products from the Moroccan brand Botanika. Pure bliss!

Service: The service was outstanding – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A huge thank you to Abrahim and his colleague for welcoming us with such kindness, even though we arrived spontaneously at 8 PM. The check-in was quick and smooth, and they immediately made us feel at home. Our room was cleaned daily, and you could feel the love and care in every detail.

Pool: The pool is absolutely stunning! Swimming with a panoramic view of the desert dunes is an experience we’ll never forget. It feels like you're floating right in the middle of the Sahara.

Food: The only area that could use improvement is the food. It was okay, but not very flavorful or memorable. The menu leaned more towards international dishes, and we missed the opportunity to try more authentic Moroccan flavors. That said, the restaurant staff were kind and professional, just like the rest of the team.

Activities & Experiences: We enjoyed two unforgettable adventures:

🐫 Camel ride at sunset: An absolute highlight! Our guide Omar was incredibly kind and passionate. He took us to the most beautiful spots, captured amazing photos and videos of us, and made the whole experience deeply special. If you book a camel ride – ask for Omar! He’s the best.

🚙 3-hour desert jeep tour: Also amazing! We visited local Berber families, drank tea, tasted homemade pastries, and learned about their traditions. A truly authentic and enriching cultural experience.

✨ Final thoughts: If you’re dreaming of a place where you can relax, reconnect, and experience the magic of the desert – Sahara Pearl is the place to go. With breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, a stunning pool, exceptional cleanliness, and genuine hospitality – it’s a hidden gem in the heart of the Sahara.

We didn’t want to leave… and we’ll definitely be...

We stayed at Sahara Pearl Hotel in September 2025.

The first thing I will say is: I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the property. There was polished marble, plush upholstery and air-conditioning that defied the relentless Sahara sun. It was not just a pretty picture made for social media - this was a genuine article. So if you're looking for some creature comfort to perk up after the gruelling drive from Marrakech, this is it.

Property As stated above, this is a properly built hotel. There is a long driveway from the entrance arch to the main building. The lobby then opens up to the centrepiece which is a decent-sized pool with a through-view to the dunes beyond.

Rooms Our room was commodious, with a balcony that overlooks the dunes. The bath was also spacious, with real circulation space that enables two persons to use it at the same time if necessary. Linen was clean and comfortable. It came with a coffee maker, and plenty of power sockets to charge your many electronic gadgets.

Service The staff were helpful and friendly - and efficient. They got straight to the point on the vitals (wifi password, documentation required, payment settlement, etc.). Check in was smooth and tightly scripted - here's your welcome drink while we process your papers, OK done, let's get the luggage to the room, and now you can relax or do whatever you wish.

Activities The hotel can arrange for all the usual activities - camel riding, dune bashing, etc. I highly recommend using this service. I had made my own prior bookings elsewhere but found out the hard way that navigating the desert roads in the dark is IMPOSSIBLE. We drove around aimlessly for half an hour before bumping into a kind soul who showed us the way to the asphalt where we regained our bearings.

Food There is a restaurant with a decent menu (Moroccan, Italian, deserts, etc.). The food was OK but don't expect refinement - this is the...

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location!!  We booked this hotel for the views and seemingly unbelievable pool at the edge of the Sahara and we are glad we did  Great spot for those seeking a comfortable desert-experience without sleeping in a tent.. I prefer four walls, quiet, great water pressure and privacy so for me this was the one!! The rooms are spacious and chic, very comfortable beds. Terrace was huge with an incredible view of the dunes (book a Sahara view).. One thing worth noting is that there is a nearby tented camp which plays music in the evenings but you only hear it IF you are outside on the terrace or hotel grounds.. Completely quiet inside the rooms and i'm a light sleeper! The music starts around 10 / 10:30pm and first is authentic berber drumming that lasts an hour (which is so fun!) and then after that some popular music for another hour or two. Just be aware and go with it, i'm no way party aged but I really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and thought it was fun and comforting!   |The staff is eager and helpful, very friendly and can set up tours and excursions for you.. All of the tours seem to be the same in the area and hotel can set up any of them!   Do a Jeep tour and sit on top while going over sand dunes - its wild!  The dinner is standard buffet and is fine, for a luxury experience have them do a private dinner in the dunes, its definitely a bit more pricey but you will have the desert to yourself and the food quality is so much better! |Highly recommended to anyone wanting luxury and comfort on the edge...
