Cafe restaurant Kasbah tifirte — Hotel in caïdat d'Ourika

We stopped there on our way back from Ourika valley because the restaurant looked very tempting from outside. Terrace we ate on had spectacular view on the valley we were surrounded by. Staff was incredibly friendly and polite and food just simply incredible. We asked two different types of tagines and both of| them were mouth watering beautiful dishes. Couple next to us also had tagine of different type - their food looked incredible too.|Overall this place is a stop you must make on your way to Ourika! Whole experience was great!...

This was a disappointing stop on our travels through the Atlas Mountains. We met with Aziz who was extremely nice and a very good salesman. He sold me a “silver” bangle bracelet for $60 USD that unfortunately broke just hours later. This was such a disappointment. The jewelry was very poor craftsmanship and my husband noted several broken pieces. Do not spend your money on “artisan”...

A hidden gem! A lovely terrace overlooking the valley with some of the best food we have tasted so far in Morocco.
