The accommodation was chosen due to its location near to the Anima Andre Heller gardens (excellent by the way).|We had quite mixed feelings about our stay here. On the positive side, the hotel buildings and grounds are beautiful, our room was the largest of all the accommodation used in our tour of Morocco, everywhere was clean and tidy and we found the evening dinner to be very good. |However there were a number of negative issues. Welcome on arrival wasn’t great, one of the few places not to offer tea or any refreshment as we arrived. There was a problem with the bathroom sink draining that left a gungy mess in the sink that we only discovered later in the day. Quite surprised this was not addressed when undertaking a standard clean of the room. |Breakfast at €6.50 person was the worst we had in Morocco in terms of volume comprising just a small one egg omelette, jam, some bread/pancakes, juice, tea and coffee. Read moreStaying in Kasbah Atfel was the highlight of my trip in Morocco. And stumbling upon it by coincidence makes it even more magical.
The owners were extremely friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We didn't have a reservation, and thankfully there were rooms available for us.
We were very interested in the garden and farm, and the gardener happily took us on a simple tour around the estate. Many organic fruits and vegetables, and from what i understood, it is what they use in the meals for the guests. The rooms are spacious and clean, over looking the garden/poolside. A lovely reading nook on the second floor. A heated pool surrounded by beach beds and a hammock.
Their pet dogs are very friendly and love petting and attention.
I was sad to leave, but i will definitely be coming again for a longer time on my next...
Read moreI stayed here with my partner. The hosts are really awesome people. They have such a warm and welcoming heart, we felt welcomed and looked after.
The hosts Aziz and his wife were such lovely people. I strongly recommend visiting this Guest house, you will not regret it.
You do need a car to conveniently move around and into the market and mountains. The facilities are great, although I would’ve loved a gym..
The dinner we had one night was amazing and well cooked and fresh! Highly recommend.
Rouselle the cat was adorable and very kind, didn’t get to say goodbye to her, she’ll stay close to you and try to sneak into your room, she’s harmless and warm.
Overall, I give this...
