Gite D'étape Himmi Omar Amsouzart — Hotel in caïdat de’Ouzioua

A 3 days trek to the top of the Djebel Toubkal was organised through the gite. Basic but very comfortable family room, excellent food and warm welcome on arrival. Amazing drive from Ouarzazate with a stop for lunch in Agouim on market day. Spectacular landscapes while walking up and down the mountain, a quick dip in Ifni lake, and memorable bivouacs thanks to Ahmed, Rachid and Hassan. We will remember it forever! I had such a wonderful stay at this guesthouse on my trekking adventure. The room and bed was very comfortable and the showers were hot and as a comfront addition there was also a western toilet - which makes life very easy if you are not use to a squat toilet. Hassan host and exceptional chef! Kind and thoughtful. Comfortable and clean rooms, hot water, fresh and genuine local products..in the morning they offer you freshly milked milk and local honey, then a variety of typical sweet and savory.
