So this place was good but the expectations of the description was very off putting and incorrect. We booked on booking.com and there was no indication that there are times that the shower runs and that the electricity will shut off. We got at the property late from being on the road all day in a hot car. We needed a shower to wash the day off and the water was off and no hot water. The bathroom was not cleaned which looked like for a while, there was bathroom stains in the toilet bowl and in the shower. We got a room with a air conditioner and at 3 am the electricity shut off. The room became like an oven even with the windows open. I tried to contact the property a out the water and the electricity and no answer. The breakfast was okay, not super clean with the set up and food. If you are to book on booking.com please know what you are getting into as if I knew this was the experience we would of booked in the city instead of driving this far on a unmarked road with no lights, not taken care of etc.

My stay at Ecolodgelile was truly unforgettable, One of the highlights was the Berber music and the vibrant atmosphere created by dancing around the fire at night—it felt like stepping into a cultural celebration. The breakfast was fantastic, with a flavorful tajine, a fluffy omelette, and a comforting soup to start the day right. I also couldn’t get enough of the breathtaking views from the swimming pool, overlooking the serene lake and majestic mountains. The reception staff, particularly Rafik, were outstanding in their hospitality, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The room itself was a haven of comfort, and the warm shower after a day of adventure was much appreciated. A huge thank you to Youssef and his entire team for making this experience so special. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Ecolodgelile to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

If you are looking to hide from hustle of the big cities - look no further. Calm, peaceful, picturesque, authentic oasis in the middle of a wild nature, but not too far from small shops should you need something. The hosts make you feel truly welcome without any fuss and overbearing service. Food is delicious, made with local ingredients and very healthy. The room we stayed in was big enough for 6+ people, it had comfortable beds, an A/C and a nice big shower/toilet. The shared territory between the lodges has plenty of plants/fruit trees, shaded terraces and tables you can chill at. Make an effort to come out at night and look up - you can see the majestic space above. And last but not least - swimming pool. It makes an ENORMOUS difference when it is +43C outside and you have children. Thank you for this amazing experience, 10/10 would recommend it!

we were offered a room on the ground floor with construction works going on on 1st floor. too much dust which caused me an allergy. lucky that it was fixed the following day by getting another room. the room was ok but no hot water for showering; the Air conditioning not working and no internet. the electricity went off and spent the night without electricity. we asked for an early breakfast in the room as it is Ramadan. we were advised that the staff in charge of the kitchen cannot make the breakfast for us and were offered a very poor cold breakfast at around 2 o'clock am which was not consumable. a complaint was made to the owner then the breakfast issue was fixed the following day with the coming of a group of Turkish nationals who required early breakfast as we did and we managed to have an average decent breakfast this time. forget about a swim as the swimming water looks green due to the water not being handled/treated. A lady working there seems to be exhausted as working all day long and night. not good for customer service as she needs to have a rest to be able to respond when needed. She is everywhere in the kitchen, at the reception, making up the rooms, etc...|we were not advised that the lodge has an issue with accepting credit cards and were obliged to pay in cash. we asked for a receipt and an invoice from the lady who said that the owner will prepare it for us on our departure day. he never did. we asked him to provide the invoice, he apologized that he does not have the stamp that day in the reception and promised to send it by email or WhatsApp. again he NEVER DID though I kept sending him reminders for over 3 weeks now. the worst thing is that the lodge owner did not honor his word or what he advertises on booking.com. it s a shame for Morocco that tries to welcome 30 million tourists as per its 2030 tourist vision announced by the king. staff and owner MUST be trained on customer...

This has been the worst hotel experience we have had in Maroc. When we got to the hotel after a long journey, we found out there was no running water in the rooms, no wifi and no airconditioning during the day. We also could not flush the toilet. When we dicided we wanted to go swimming, we were greeted bij a disgusting brown pool. After showering with cups of water, we went for dinner. The food which was presented to us, was barely enough for 2 people, we were with 4. Still hungry we went to bed. The airco did not work, and we still could not take a shower, even though we were prommised the power would be on by evening. The airco made a high pitched noise when the power briefly went on. With no airco en bad noises we had a very bad night. The next morning, at departure we confronted the owner about the issues. He refused to listen to what we had to say, even when presented with evidence (pictures and videos). We asked for a refund and they refused. Later that day we got a review from them on AirBnB, accusing us of stealing the towels in the room, even though there were no towels present when we arrived. Also the prices of the food were terrible. They 1/2 person tajin and a breakfast cost us about €58,-. The only bright light was server Achmed. I would like to thank him for making our experience better. Please do not book this “eco lodge”. Maroc has way better...

We were a party of 5 and had made a reservation through Booking.com. Upon arrival, after a long journey from London, UK via Marrakech, we were told that there was no reservation under my name.

After checking my emails I saw that the reservation has been cancelled by the host at 5:34pm, after the check in time of 3pm. We had been en route and were probably somewhere in the Atlas mountains around 5pm so weren't aware of this cancellation.

We had to wait 10 minutes after we arrived for someone to even speak to us, we were treated as if we were part of the furniture. There were no attempts made to accommodate us, it was simply stated in a rude manner that we had no reservation there.

The images you see if this place online are nothing like what it looks like in person, it was very run down and seemed derelict to be frank. There was an unbearable stench of manure.

Thankfully we didn't have to stay here but it would be nice if they had basic people skills, gave us a bit more notice and didn't cancel...
