This hotel was the last one on our way to Marrakech. Lots of free parking and a large pool. Water was freezing, which is hard to believe with the outside temperature in the high thirties. Close to the village with one of the most interesting kasbahs in the area (a world heritage site). The owner welcomed us and seemed very pleased to see us. Large room and good size bathroom. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. We had dinner here and the food was just great. We started out with a cream of carrot with just a hint of ginger and cumin. Kofta, chicken in lemon sauce, local noodles and a tagine were the main courses and to round everything off, a large plate of fruit including bananas and melon. Breakfast was ok. Coffee was disappointing and the baguette was at least a day old. They tend to put everything in the freezer, so the yoghurt was frozen solid, losing some of its taste and texture. The bottled water was bottled ice and needed some time to melt. This is a non-alcohol restaurant. Rooms were on the second floor, no elevator, but staff was very helpful. Overall staff was helpful and friendly....
Read moreAfter two days of bad experiments in a guesthouse, we were looking for a real hotel when we arrive in Aït Benhaddou. There is the "complexe la kasbah" in the center of the village, but after visit it we continue our road to find something else (old and poorly maintained, dirty). Some kilometers after the village in the way of Telouet, we find Ksar Ljanoub and after visiting the rooms, we choose to stay here. After one night, I can say we make a good choice! The owner Khaled was very kind and welcoming with us. He explained its a new hotel, opened some months ago. We choose a Deluxe Room, very spacious, with a giant king size bed. The bathroom was minimale but clean. We had a quiet and relaxing afternoon at the pool. Dinner is classic but with large serving and a good price / quality ratio. We recommend this hotel to all couples or families who want real and professional...
Read moreI was travelling with a group of 10 as a coordinator for Weroad. We were stunned by the location. It felt like arriving in an oasis on mars. We all got treated very kindly and enjoyed it a lot. Pros: Service (felt like a family hosting us) Location Pool Food (everyone was very happy with the quality and taste) Did not mind us drinking beer that we brought
Cons: Rooms are big with comfortable beds and aircon, only the weak walls especially, the bathrooms were not allowing for having enough privacy for some individuals.
Overall it was I great experience and we definitely recommend...
