This hotel is a gem. The architecture, main hall, and the rooms. We’ve seen two family rooms and both had separate area for the children, and we chose one with a bath with a view. The indoor pool is beautiful with details like marble tiles with fossilized prehistoric sea creatures in them. The story did not end there. Being only guests we did chose to dine at the hotel, and had a nice dinner. The pool is unheated like most pools in Marocco and was with around 19’c quite chilly. But it didnt stop us from taking a swim. The jacuzzi was closed for maintenance sadly, but will have heating when in operation. The story only starts here: the main reason to come here would be Aid Ben Haddou and that is nice, but at the hotel you’ll find it’s attached to an abandoned kasbah that you can visit. An old man opened the door for 15 dirham per person and we spend around 30 minutes exploring it when we where approached by a local man that wanted to show us his garden behind the kasbah, between the river and the kasbah. Another surprise, beautiful area, friendly people and a pure and spontaneous experience. After our very early walk a very nice breakfast awaited. For us the hotel and the surroundings where a 5* experience. Things can be better (like a working jacuzzi) and they will be when tourism starts up after the pandemic. Pictures taken at the hotel & the area.

Stayed here in September 2023 and posting so others know what to expect. Paid a very high price (€163) for a room in a hotel where EVERYTHING needs urgent repair and maintenance. Avoid at all cost unless you read that it has been renovated. I would have left if I hadn’t been exhausted after a 7 hour drive. The positive side: the staff was courteous and breakfast was okay. Oh, the view might have been nice if the windows weren’t broken and so filthy we couldn’t see out of them. Here are just a few details, I could list many more: - parts of the ceiling literally fell in the room when we were there - filthy and dusty to the point of making me consider leaving - pool bottom left your feet filthy black - torn filthy curtains in the room - lobby and rooms smelled of rotten cabbage - creepy building straight out of a horror movie - dead plants inside hotel -no amenities, dirty towels, dirty bed sheets - “spa” is disgusting and expensive (didn’t use, of course) - EVERYTHING needs urgent repair! Attaching pictures. Hope this helps others.

A gem of a place just outside of Ait Ben Haddou. Yassine, Yassine and Saheed were incredible hosts and the rooms, spa and food were excellent. Ok finding it was my partner's birthday they pulled out all the stops to make the occasion extra special. Great English and French spoken by everyone there. Located just next door to one of the primary filming locations of Gladiator and some 4000 year old troglodyte caves there is lots to do. I recommend a tour of the caves and Kasbah (the oldest in the region) with Mohammed the local guide who was one of the friendliest and most welcoming people we had the pleasure of meeting. We stopped on our return journey and were greeted like family. An incredible place, made even more special by the people we met. Don't stay in busy Ait Ben Haddou, stay here or in nearby Dar Bilal, you will not regret it!

My husband and I were on a 3 week holiday in Morocco and we stayed at Kasbah Titrit for 3 nights. This hotel was very different from anywhere else we have stayed. It looked and felt like a castle! While It was built in a traditional Moroccan style the inside was very elegant and decorated to a high standard.||||Our accommodation consisted of a bedroom, lounge and 2 bathrooms. They were spotless and spacious. A little updating was required but it was all minimal - better soap, flickering lights in the bedroom when they were all switched on. The views from our room were spectacular! It was very peaceful staying here and made a change from the other busy places we visited.||||We ate breakfast every morning and dinner on two evenings. The food was plentiful and very good quality. In fact, they were very generous and we couldn't eat it all.||||One of the best things about Kasbah Titrit was the staff. Every time we went past reception or ate there we were welcomed with smiles from the two main staff Yassine and Yassine! They were always very friendly, happy and willing to help in any way we needed. They were the best and most genuine staff we met in any hotel during our 3 week holiday.||||I imagine, like many other places, Kasbah Titrit was affected by the pandemic as it wasn't very busy when we were there and I hope things improve as our stay there was wonderful and we would love to stay...
