Read moreWe stayed in Morocco for 10 days and honestly can't think of a more comfortable and hospitable place in all of Morocco to stay then Hamid Tigmi! The beds were very comfortable, the place was very clean and the breakfast was the absolute best! Hamid also prepares remarkable homemade, authentic Moroccan cuisine that's very, very delicious! They also show you how the food is prepared if you like! At night after dinner Hamid and some of the staff played Berber music. I'm not a musician myself but must say that they seemed quite accomplished in this task! As if things couldn't get any better, while having breakfast on what was to be our last day, a true gentleman by the name Muhammad (MoMo) was serving us breakfast and talking about desert hikes and hikes through villages not really seen by many outsiders. He offered to take us on what we thought would be a small trek for a very reasonable price. We agreed and ended up extending out stay to another night! The small trek turned out to be all day and definitely THE MOST memorable and authentic experiences we had in Morocco! I have to say MoMo has an extremely big heart, very kind and honest guy. Everyone at Hamid Tigmi was! I honestly thought Morocco would be a one and done, but everyone at Hamid Tigmi has us thinking otherwise. We will most certainly recommend this place to everyone going that way and hopefully return ourselves. Please don't...
