Hi there,|We want you to know about our very bad experience today with our booking in this Dar Eddaya hotel that we canceled today at the hotel:|1. We arrived around 12am. The receptionist had to look for our booking for more than 10 minutes even if we showed her the confirmation on booking.com app. She seemed to discover what it is!|2. The receptionist asked for the price of our booking which was 89 Euros for one night for a Junior Suite. She seemed very surprised because they sell the same suite for very much higher and the demand is high in this period.|3. After almost 20 minutes of waiting, she took us to see 2 rooms that have anything at all to be as a suite. We’ve already been in the same hotel several times in the past and we know very well the premises. We refused the proposed rooms that absolutely don’t fit with us (me, my wife and my 2 young kids).|4. 10 minutes again in the reception and we are asked to come back after 2 hours when a real Junior Suite will be freed and cleaned.|5. We went to the restaurant were there was a buffet with very limited choices and quantities of food.|6. We get back to the reception at 2pm and there was no suite available yet. We have been asked to wait again.|7. 25 minutes after, the receptionist came with some keys and explained that it was for a temporary room until they find a Junior Suite. We refused this home made solution and insisted to have our room as booked in booking.com we explained that we had a long trip of 200 km to come and we have 2 kids that have to rest.|8. At 2:45 pm, we had no choice but to cancel our booking while in the reception and quit for doing again 200 km to get back home with disappointed and frustrated kids.|9. Before leaving, we insisted to pay our restaurant bill. We got it after a long waiting again and the receptionist made a mistake while paying with credit card so we paid the total bill in 2 parts! A nightmare of lack of professionalism.||Our conclusion is that hotel’s managers or receptionists wanted to fool us with their pretext of no available Junior Suite and late check-out customers in order to sell the room at higher prices or to give us a less-standing room according to the price we got with our usual booking platform.||Our dissatisfaction and deception of this kind of establishments was huge. Read moreI came to the hotel as a walk in guest (no booking previously arranged) the price per night was about 85 $ per night and i think the rooms doesn’t worth more than 70$ per night regardless to there different rooms view. The front disk guy was very helpful and cooperative and the the check in was fast and smooth. the employees are very helpful and welling to help.The room was in the ground floor with swimming pool and lake view. I stayed there during the world cup 2018 and they were providing the sport TV channels at the room and for me that was more than amazing and i appreciated because most of the hotels don’t care about the variety of the clients. The bed was comfortable and clean. the area was quiet and the AC was working perfectly. the room was clean and smell clean generally BUT because i am very picky with the cleanness especially in the hotels, the room need further attention regarding that. i went about the details and i found some dust and little spider nets in the corners of the room and in the light decor as well and that is something scary for such a traveller like me. One more thing i didn't like at all, there is no WIFI at the room only at the lobby and that was unacceptable for me because even the small hotels provide internet service at the room. Read moreI have just had the worst experience ever. It is Ramadan and the hotel made a breakfast offer which is 150 dhs for a person*. We called wnd made ou reservation two days before, when we arrived there, the receptionist hadn't gone through with our reservation. She calmly said:" oh I remember someone calling and making a reservation for six, oh! It was you, I completely forgot but I will manage something for you." Then, the restaurant staff hurried in and out trying to make up for this but in vain. More than half of the menu (mentioned in the offer) wasn't served and the things served were really garbage i.e smelly, and was surely frozen and not cooked well that is if you go with it and eat it you'll end up toxicated. Whatever we order we don't get it though it was in the menu. More than that, when the bill came it was 150 Dhs each which is 900 Dhs. The waiter put it on the table while laughing. We asked about the manager and the response was, "we don't want to disturb him in breakfast time". Seriously. And by the wqy thr recrptionist didn'y assume responsibility and vanished, she was nowhere to be found. Well, to cut it short we finished it Moroccan style. see...
