I was discriminated in this hotel just because I reserved TWO rooms, one on my name and the other one on the name of my friend (Girl).||||The lady who says she manages that place called me 2 days before arrival and she was so rude saying that I have to cancel the booking that was already paid non refundable just because I am with a girl.||||I didn't have time to waste and argue stupid things and since the reservation was not refundable I didn't cancel and asked her to cancel from their side since their so called stupid rules never stated that a Moroccan couple arriving together can't stay in two diffrent rooms on the fine print and they never mention anything about that matter. I filed a complaint to booking.com and still waiting for a refund.||I want to say to the rude lady managing that place, I know that there is a common discriminatory practice by hotels against Moroccans ONLY to get a double room if not married that's why I reserved two rooms just to avoid people getting to question our lives.||||I also know that some hotels keep the stupid practice just to sell more rooms for Moroccan couples but you went to another level of discrimination.||I also know that hotels roll out the red carpet for all kind of people without any questions about their lives beliefs or relationships as long as they are not Moroccans. it's none of your business anyways.||||To the rude lady manager, not all Moroccan couples are what you think and if we have something to hide we would have played it smart and would have reserverved each one by his/her own booking account. Read moreWe read a few negative reviews of late about this place and almost sidestepped it because of them but we got a lesson in making up your own mind. Not sure what the last few reviewers did wrong or whether there was a stand in care taker but we could not fault this place. Owner seemed nice and helpful, at odds with the last review the price was spelt out In black and white on entry so not sure how they got "charged double when leaving". |Very quiet, beautiful tree covered sites, power and clean enough toilets. There is wifi but I haven't logged on to check speed. Hot water gets turned on in the morning (ie. The boiler fire gets lit) but we had piping hot showers till early afternoon. Security guy walked around a lot and everything seemed nice and in order. Unless we get shafted on the way out tomorrow I would highly recommend this place as a beautiful quiet alternative to town. |But you may want to bring ear plugs. The dogs last night were barking literally all night long. Apart from that...
