In early spring, we stayed twice overnight at Chez Targi, first on the way from Errachidia to Boudenib, and then back before catching the early morning flight out of Errachidia airport which is a 15 min drive away. On both occasions, we were welcomed warmly by Driss and his son who served us and other guests fine mint tea on their terrace, great tajines with fresh bread and fruit for dinners and for breakfast. Driss and his friends entertained us with an ad-hoc drum session and their great company. Driss kindly organised a reliable driver with a car for our transfers, and would not see us off very early in the morning without a precious gift from his palm gardens! OVERPRICED food in bistro - PAID 23€: we got food on the pic, supposed to be for 2ppl, but wasnt enought; fried potatoes, onions, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and one portion of cold dry chicken, plus bread and mint tea. We got charged for 2 salads, 2 portions of chicken meal, 2 teas and not sure what else, as bread is usually free. This lunch would cost less even in US! We wanted another meals but they said anything else would take 2 hours. No wifi, squatty potty, no toilet paper, no soap. The server was very nice and played...

Seit 4 Jahren fahre ich regelmäßig in den kleinen Ort Meski. Ich habe diesen Ort kennen und lieben gelernt. Bekannt ist dieser Ort durch die traumhafte Oase "La SOURCE BLEUE" und durch die alte Kasbah, die noch bis in die 70er Jahre bewohnt war. In der Oase gibt es einen Campingplatz, der hauptsächlich von Caravans genutzt wird. Seit 2019 gibt es "Birgits Bed & Bistro", ein gemütliches Gästehaus mit 5 Zimmern und 13 Betten. Auf Sauberkeit wird großen Wert gelegt. Darüber hinaus gibt es eine große, windgeschützte Sonnenterasse, die nur von den Gästen genutzt werden darf. Hier kann man auch das Frühstück und das Abendessen (Tajine + Couscous + ....mehr) zu sich nehmen. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen sind im Preis inbegriffen. Der Besitzer , DRISS ( ein Berber, der in Meski geboren ist), ist äußerst nett und korrekt und hilfsbereit. Auf Wunsch macht er fast alles für den Gast möglich und organisiert kleinere oder größere Reisen in der Wüste. Birgits Bed & Bistro ist ein ideales Urlaubsziel für alle, die mal so richtig von Alltagsstress entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen wollen.
