We arrived at about 4pm after a long drive. The location is exceptional, within a spectacular gorge. Firstly, there is no bar despite it being listed as a facility here and on booking apps. To be fair, the owner/manager offered to take us to the nearest place to buy beer around 7km away. We were shown to our room a minute from reception. The door to the balcony was broken and it was therefore inaccessible. We turned the air conditioning on and went to the pool. This was very busy with local families so it maybe is busy with non guests during school holidays. When we were about to get into the pool one gentleman looked directly at my wife and, without withdrawing his gaze, spat in the pool. After a quick swim, we returned to the room but the air conditioning had stopped working. At this point, we decided that it might not be the place for us and checked out. I was a little surprised by the reaction of the owner and he seemed not to be surprised and was a little aggressive but didn't ask why we cancelled. I'm sure it's unrelated, but we were stopped at a police checkpoint 10 minutes after leaving for them to attempt...

The colours of the bedrooms, ranging from lime green to purple was off putting enough, but for me and my wife to be eaten by bed bugs was awful. We had little sleep! Also the food in the evening was appalling. I suppose that because there is not a nearby restaurant, at least not in walking distance think that they can serve up anything. The meal, for an extortionate 100 dirhams per person consisted of: salad---boiled potatoes, boiled french beans, boiled rice and boiled carrots, and no dressing to speak of! Main course--- a chicken Tajine that was a small leg and thigh with a few prunes, between the 2 of us. Dessert-- some fruit from the garden. All in all a...
