Bivouac Le Charme d'Aladin — Hotel in caïdat de M'Hamid

5 stars are not enough! We felt like home…

We loved that place so much that we decided to stay longer. Ali, Christiane, Ahmed, Mohamed and the rest of the team made us feel like home and surrounded by friends… The silence of the desert with everything you need (while still remaining an authentic place), the delicious food, the amazing music in the evening around the bonfire, the walks barefoot on the vast dunes at sunrise and sunset and the warmth of the people…You can have it all here and recharge your batteries! I think that one night is not enough and you need at least two to feel the desert. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back for at least a week. The desert is contagious. Contrary to Erg Chebbi and Merzouga which are closer to the road and therefore very touristic, Erg Chigaga where the Aladdin bivouac is located is further from the road and therefore the real desert experience. It is 1h30 away by 4WD from Mhamid (Ali will drive you there, no worries) and on the way you will see more and more dunes and camels freely roaming around… Huge thanks to the whole team, we loved every second...

Ohhhh we loved our 3 night stay in the desert! It was such a calm contrast after Marrakech… The beauty is breathtaking! Everyone working at the desert camp did everything to make our stay special.
