Ksar Jenna — Hotel in caïdat de N'Kob

Unfortunately I can not recommend this accommodation, clarify all(!) prices in advance!!! First the positive: a really nice place with good food. we were warmly welcomed with tea and snacks by the owner. We had booked two rooms, at first there was no hot water, later after complaining hot water was provided for one room. Now what we did not find ok: On the Phone, the Owner offered us a price including dinner and breakfast, only 1 Night, 900 for the double Room and 600 for the single Room. The owner asked for 200 in advance. When the bill arrived, the 200 prepayment did not appear, instead an additional 600 was charged for dinner (200pP). The whole thing could have been cleared up, but the owner had suddenly disappeared and neither we nor his employees could reach him. We had to move on, and paid a total of 1900 for the entire stay - far too expensive, but above all the owner's behavior was not at all...

We stayed in Ksar Kenna this may. We booked by email, by a certail Stella. She asked me to pay in advance, by paypal, to have a discount, and i did it. But when i arrived at the hotel, after two days in the erg chebbi desert and a long road, a men there (youssef) told us that the reservation wasn't valid, that he did not have the room we payed, and that he did not either received the money,||||After long discussions, we managed to stay in a room without private bathroom without paying again.||I was very surprised, (and annoyed) a i think there is some problem between him and an italian lady (stella celina) that manages booking,||||The hotel indeed is nice, clean, good food and very kind people,||Unfortunately is in unhappy place, there is non swimming pool, and it very close to the main road, so some...

Approximately half way between Marrakech and Merzouga this is the ideal stop off point after twisting your way through the atlas mountains and heading into the desert.||||The hotel is fit for a king with views from the roof across the desert and to the nearby towns.||We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves and despite only staying the night felt thoroughly rested and well fed.||||The staff were so accommodating and helpful and even offered for us to come to their home in the local township for a meal with their family. Reluctantly we declined.||||If your doing a road trip around Morocco, especially if its a self organised trip, this should definitely be on your radar as a stop off point.
