Where do I even start .... We arrived as strangers but we left with a new family! Abderrahman (the host), Faouzia (the hostess and best cook in Marrakech), Naziha (the sous-chef and hostess), and not to forget Lamis (the cat, who will always come to greet you in the morning and in the evening) ... all of them were just so welcoming and warm-hearted! The reviews speak for themselves, and trust me if I say that it is not too good to be true, it is reality! Every morning, the breakfast consisted of freshly baked bread, msemen (Moroccan pastry), freshly pressed juice (from their own garden), fresh olive oil (from their own garden), all kinds of fresh toppings from the area, Moroccan minted tea, coffee, and a daily extra. You can also order dinner in advance. We ordered three times, two times Tajine and one time Couscous ... and again, GREAT! If you're afraid of getting sick from street food, you can be sure that Le Bleu House will serve you fresh, neat and tasty food. The area outside the hotel looks poorly maintained, but it is just another vibe, for you'll really feel that you're between locals. Everybody outside is very friendly and welcoming to tourists. The area between the walls of the hotel is beautiful. It's a terrain with all kinds of trees (olive, orange, lemon, tangerine, etc.), cats, birds and chicken's. The room was properly maintained, neat, and big. The decoration is somewhat oldskool, but it is very charming. The distance between Marrakech and the hotel is around 25 minutes. If you're staying more than 3 nights, I would suggest to rent a car (like we did). If you're staying between 1 and 3 nights, you can perfectly rent a taxi, the host will be happy to order a taxi for you (one way costs around €30,00). Furthermore, the host will be happy to help you further with any question and will give you the best suggestions. They're all very helpful. To sum...
Read moreA beautiful and chilled spot. Spacious garden with a swimming pool for the hot days :) The family that owns and runs the place is super kind, welcoming and helpful. They make you feel at home. We had some friends who stopped by for a visit and they immediately took out tea and cookies, to make our visitors feel welcomed. Important to know that it's located outside of Marrakech, about 20-30 min drive to the city center, depends on where you're going. So you'll probably need a (rental) car to get around, as there is not much going on around the guest house. One can also just come there to relax and unwind for a couple of days (as we did). The distance from busy Marrakech allows this place to be chilled and spacious. The hosts can book a taxi for about 20 euros each way to the city center/Medina (a good price in comparison to other offers), if you rather not drive/rent a car. Taxi to the airport is also available. There's a good menu with delicious food that is cooked at the place by the family for lunch/dinner. Some of the dishes needed to be ordered about 2 hours in advance (tagine), as they are traditionally slow cooked, and it's worth it. Everything we ate there was great. Highly recommended. We'll be back if ever again...

I’m writing this review with hesitation, as I don’t want to give away such a gem near Marrakesh;). But I also would like that hosting family become more and more successful as they truly deserve it.
We have spent two weeks in Marocco frequently changing locations as we wanted to discover as much as we can of this beautiful country. And Le blue house was the best place where we stayed. We liked it so much, so we even extended our stay for an additional night.
Everything in this place was perfect - spacious room with a big terrace and up to date bathroom (simple, but difficult to find in Marocco). In the room - bed linen of good quality, decorated in marrocan style ceiling and colourful lamp.
Freshly made, tasty and rich breakfasts and all other meals.
Beautiful and quite garden. Real oasis! Comfortable traditional seating on the floor and on the sofas. Very nice swimming pool (not heated) but already pleasant during April.
Everything very clean and well taken care of.
Kids friendly place.
Internal parking area.
The most important for us, very nice and kind people who manage this place. They go beyond and above to make your stay a success!
We would definitely come back and enjoy your...
