Due to bad weather in the UK on the 28th of December and our flights home being cancelled, we were left with the option of finding our own accommodation for the night, (long story!).

Trying to use the Agadir airport WIFI to find a room was an absolute nightmare, as multiple planes were cancelled and hundreds of people were trying to book any available place to stay.

Ended up finding this little gem of a place run by Mr Said and his Wife.

We arrived at 11 PM and were shown our room for the evening which was a decent size, clean and fresh.

Mr Said brought us some Moroccan tea and biscuits as we relaxed outside after the very stressful day we'd had. The sugar cubes are absolutely massive :)

The next morning we were brought a wonderful, fresh and piping hot traditional breakfast, served by his lovely wife and him.

He'd obviously seen me taking plenty of pictures during the morning and invited me to see his private music museum which is around the back of the property and behind locked doors.

This room was full of traditional musical instruments which he played for me and encouraged me to have a go. Really enjoyable hour or so.

We communicated via pigeon English and my limited French, but had a good laugh together.

The garden is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert with plenty of fruit trees, etc. The views of the Atlas mountains are spectacular.

When it was time for us to return to the airport he arranged a taxi for us which cost us 250 Moroccan Dirhams, which was a lot cheaper than getting there the night before (400 Dirhams).

His assistant (who des have perfect English) was super helpful too and a great guy.

My family and I would go back there to stay, a truly...

Our host greeted us at his main entrance. Lovely courtyard and pool area. Super comfortable bed and good breakfast. Beautiful view of the surrounding area and night sky from the terrace. The breakfast was good. Our host waited for us again at the gate until we came back from dinner in town. Good safe location if you are driving by car. After a long day in the car, we were looking forward to the dinner described by some guests, but like one other reviewer, it was not available the one night we were here. However, thank you so much for your gentleness and...

We stayed here for 1 night, and it was a great choice. The welcome was friendly and welcoming. The site is still under development but will look great when finished. A big flat area to park in, so regardless if you are in, a campervan, motorhome, a large vehicle or towing a trailer there is room. Swimming pool, area for grey and toilet cassette. The showers were luke warm in the morning. The electricity is stable and stayed on the whole time we were there. Very safe and secure. Quietest place we have stayed in Morocco, we had the best sleep.
