Our second visit to Kasbah des Cyprès lived up to all our expectations. From the moment we entered this stunning property, we began to unwind. The kasbah itself, the gardens and pool area are all beautiful and well maintained. There is a very laid back vibe here. All of the staff, inside and out, are very friendly and welcoming. The owner Jihad has formed an excellent team, and whilst it could be unfair to single out particular staff, we cannot fail to mention the front-of-house staff Khalid and Mohammed, who ensured that we were well looked after. Our suite room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large comfortable bed. We absolutely loved the food, which is all locally sourced and freshly prepared. Fruit and other produce are grown in the kasbah’s gardens, and appear in the delicious dishes made in the kitchen by the talented cooks. The swimming pool area is a lovely place to spend time in the sun on the comfortable loungers and under palm trees or umbrellas for shade. All in all, this continues to be our favourite place! Highly recommended…we will definitely return.

We had a superb break at Kasbah des Cypres. From the moment we entered this stunning property, we began to unwind. The kasbah itself, the gardens and pool area are all beautiful and well maintained. There is a very laid back vibe here. The staff members (including thoughtful and attentive owner Jihad, the famous waiter Mohammed (!) and knowledgeable local guide / driver Fouad as well as the rest of the team) all contributed to making sure we had a relaxing time. My rate is 4,5 The hotel is really charming – a mix between a kasbah and a mansion. The gardens, fountain and the pool create a special atmosphere. Our room was a good size, around 25–30 square meters, which was perfect for two people. The design was minimalistic but warm and cozy. The building itself looks like a castle, which makes it quite unique and interesting. It was very quiet at night, so we had a good rest. We didn’t have trouble finding the hotel, but it’s a bit off the main road, so it takes some time to get there. Also, Google Maps might suggest going through a field, which is not the right way. The staff was friendly and attentive. You can pay only in cash, which was not very convenient. We didn’t have much cash with us and spent everything we had on dinner. We also wanted to order some wine but couldn’t because card payments were not accepted. Breakfast was extremely basic – just some bread and pastries with jam and butter.

We arrived at Kasbah des Cypres after winding through a village in an area of Skoura which feels lost in time and wonderfully "off the grid". When the gate opened to the Riad, it took our breath away. Tall Cypress trees guard a beautiful stately Kasbah designed to make you feel you are in a luxurious but comfortable home. The grounds are lush with fruit and nut trees, and ample outdoors space to enjoy balmy spring/summer evenings. We were there end of May and it was warm. The room we had was beautifully appointed with refreshing cool air conditioning. We wished we could have stayed longer and explored the little village that surrounded us and to enjoy a few extra balmy evenings with the best food we'd experienced in Morocco, thanks to the Lady Chefs who work tirelessly to provide a relaxed luxurious culinary experience. Absolutely gorgeous. Mohammed's visits with us during dinner were not only welcome but informative and insightful into the local region. We loved meeting him. He made our stay extra special.
