I spent an unforgettable night at The Heritage House in Skoura, right in the heart of the oasis. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

The atmosphere is peaceful, authentic, and full of soul. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and inspired by traditional Islamic and cultural heritage. Prices are very reasonable, and the food was delicious — homemade and full of flavor.

What makes this place truly special is the people. Everyone is kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Si Ibrahim, who shared with me stories about life in the oasis, the history of Skoura, the kasbahs, the old zawiyas, and the local culture. It felt like more than a stay — it was a cultural journey.

If you wanna make an unforgettable and heartwarming memory, this is the place to visit. Nadia and Brahim are such lovely people and will do everything what's in their power to make you feel like at home and most welcome. The house is located a little bit far from the main road but Google maps has the location right, so just follow that. The place is newly renovated and they are trying to introduce you to the local culture by for example a cooking class. They are at the beginning of their journey but are up to something really special. It's not just like every other hotel which makes money of your visit, they welcome you to their home and make you feel like one of them. Wonderful stay in Heritage House Skoura. Our hosts Nadia, Brahim, Hadisha, Suleiman and his family were really friendly and helpful. They are keen to share their heritage and culture which was really interesting and also so important for future generations.
