Everything from the service leading up to the trip was exceptional. We emailed back and forth and every time I sent an email they replied back promptly. They planned a driver to pick us up from the our hotel in Errachidia about 2 hours away.
I don't know what company they booked through but we had a driver named Omar and he was exceptional. He took us on a tour prior to going to the camp. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. When asked, he even stopped by s local shop to help us find our requested clothing. I've traveled a lot and never had a driver as great as him. The next time I go to Morocco, I pray that I can find him. If I had to rate him on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give him a 20!
Itran Royal Camp is also amazing. We visited the camp during their low season so there was only one other guest there at the time... Which meant they were able to focus on us more 😉. The main host we had was Said, who was also a great host and very personable. He helped us book everything. We road camels, toured different areas, went to a museum, and drove buggies through the desert.
Breakfast and dinner was served by the camp everyday. OMG the service was remarkable. I wish I remembered the server's name but I don't. He was incredible. I felt like I was in a "6-star" restaurant. On top of the amazing service, the food was exceptional. My wife and I were skeptical of the food since it's a totally different culture, but their chefs did an amazing job... The flavors were so boastful. When you choose this camp , come to eat. Their portions were too much to finish... The flavor was so good that we tried though lol.
The camp set up transportation for our ride back to the airport in Errachidia, which once again is about 2 hours. Unbeknown to us, it was the GREAT Omar again. Lol
Overall, this camp and my experience was amazing. My expectations were already high and they still beat them.
I 10000% recommend...

The manager, Aziz, who wore more hats than I could keep track of, had a powerful presence that made it clear from the minute we arrived that we were in good hands. His grace, clarity, warmth and ease were remarkable for such a very hard working and dedicated man whose service and staff demonstrated excellence in every way from beginning to end. Who knew you could get 5 star accommodations, food, management and staff in the desert! ||We were fortunate to have extra time with Aziz to hear about his Gnawa roots and that resulted in us having a deeper understanding than we otherwise would have from our time in their village. The evening fires, camel ride and sand boarding were a big part of what made our trip so special. We had to stay 2 nights to be able to spend time with the Gnawa, which was well worth it.||When we drove around the desert, it was clear that this camp is unique in its setting compared to the rest, which were more crowded and touristy looking. Being at Itran gave us a gorgeous desert experience - giving new meaning to...
